New to fishing the area. Just getting back after a few years without fishing. I was wondering about any good areas in the Cherry Point area for large or smallmouth I prefer to go for largemouth I know theres a ton of brackish waters here and a ton of striped Bass.

Hello, I am new to the forum and would like to say that this forum has helped me a ton already. I'm starting up fresh after a few years of not being able to fish. Now I know that many of the threads have information that helps with this but I was wondering what are key items for starting a fresh tackle box. Any suggestions or lists of favorites is much appreciated!
