  1. Perch, and Loon as a secondary.
  2. Was in the BP here in MD and they had a Sold Out sign up for the 40th boats.
  3. Can't complain about a day like that! Nice lunker too!
  4. I have an 8' H/F speed demon bass series (flippin) and I like it a lot, very solid rod. The only thing I don't like about it is the placement of the lure holder, if you have bigger hands it rubs a bit when flipping.
  5. At least it wasn't raining on you! LOL! Get any muskie follows? I need one of those this year.
  6. @MassYak85 summed it up perfect. I am 90% C&R, but I will certainly take a limit home for a fish fry from time to time.
  7. I love catching them (Northern Pike) and eating them too. I normally release them, but in season I will surely take a few and fry them up.
  8. 30 lb power pro. Never had an issue.
  9. Discount tackle order came in; I had to start up a stash of NED rig stuff. Can't wait to try it out. Thought the coppertreuse color looked interesting.
  10. I don't drink it, I heard the fish pee in it......
  11. @ww2farmer you just set the bar for next time we fish together! Hahah! Great day!
  12. That finesse bulletz rig looks really good.
  13. I like both so it is hard to decide, if I had to choose one, I think I would go with morning. I love a nice topwater bite in the morning.
  14. Yeah, over a 100 here today. I hit the pool instead of throwing a lure! LOL
  15. Well as Farmer said, it was slow on Conesus on Sunday, but still had a good day learning some new things and trying other things out that I wouldn't have thought of. One thing is, if you are going to bring rain gear, best to bring the whole set. I had a jacket, and it POURED on us for quite a bit, EVERYTHING but my upper torso was wet to the bone, and the temps dropped as well. So it was a bit chilly, I put my hands IN the water to warm them up! I went to Conesus again yesterday to try my luck. I put about 7/8 in the boat from about 1-4, best being about a 4lbr who only had one eye and a mean attitude! I stuck him in the live well so I could snap a pic with him for a few minutes because of the wind, he was ticked still. The wind out of the North was tough as I was trying to fish some docks and it was blowing my boat past the docks faster than I could fish them. (guess it is another reason why I "need" a bass boat!) My dad kept pulling in SM with a moving bait, while I was skipping docks.
  16. Fished Silver as well today. Not to the best, but got a few in the boat. Was talking with @ww2farmer on the lake, and the 3 min we were chatting he puts one close to 5 lbs in the boat without missing a beat.
  17. I am a huge fan of Sqwincher packs. I keep them in the boat, home, all year round. They taste great and less salt, more potassium.
  18. I am a fan of free swinging trailer hooks as well. Never noticed any difference when around weeds, docks, etc with the extra hook.
  19. My thoughts are I can't (don't want to) afford them.
  20. Big fan of Mustad UltraPoint here.
  21. I saw video of this, so cool. If I was only rich........
  22. No way I would volunteer for that study. Tics are always bad here in MD.

    Huk

I have some, get it on sale. It is very well made and comfortable.
  24. I am just jealous you are out! Not a bad few outings, it is going to be really tough since you set the bar so high! I forgot to mention the amount of carp that were out in the shallows when I was poking around. There are tons of hammers in Silver.
