Can't let the WNY thread get to far down!!
Any of my WNY fisherman getting ready for bow season?? This is my first year with my own boat so I am pretty excited to hunt in the morning, grab the boat and run over and fish all day, then back in the tree for an evening hunt!
Anyone else do some hunt/fish days?
Strike King Finesse Worm in Bold Blue Gill. They look almost like a real night crawler; super soft and it effects their longevity, but they catch fish.
Good deal. For the most part anything that you say you did "wrong" you know that several hundred if not thousands have done the same thing 'wrong' before and it is all part of learning.
Not sure where he went, but I guess it paid off for him.
I went to the weight-ins today (first time going to an event like this) an I have to say it was a pretty cool event.
Took my boys and wife and the only pro I got to talk to was Mike Iaconelli and have to say he was a super nice guy. He actually pulled back to the docks on his way to take his boat out of the water to let a few people get a picture with him. He let me boys (twin 6 years olds) climb into his boat for a picture and took the time to answer the 1000 "what's that" questions my boys had for him.
Here is a recent one from here in Maryland. This guy was in a boating accident right near the Chesapeake Bay Bridge about a week ago, they found him using side scan. RIP.
Anyone rent a lake house during the summer? I was looking at possibly renting a lake house for a week next summer.
If you had to choose a lake (NY) to rent a house on for a week, which one would you choose?
Farmer, I was there on Friday and Saturday, I was supposed to go on Sunday as well but decided to remove woodchucks from the farm instead. Guess I shouldn't have!
