  1. Yeah, I was in the main canal mostly because of the wind. Caught bunch of small ones and a nice 4 1/2 pounder. Later I went to the flats and could barely fish, to much wind.
  2. I'm going to holiday park tomorrow. Sun sentinel fishing report says big bass were on the flats, lets hope so.
  3. Thanks to all, I decided to go with the minn Kota 210D. I will use a standard battery charger on the cranking until I get a single bank. I would love to get a three bank but running the wires is not possible unless taking the boat apart. It's not a standard boat, it's a custom storm bass boat. Also I live down in south Florida and usually have at least 15-20 mile run every trip. Thanks for all the input I really appreciate it.
  4. I would like to but my trolling batteries are in the front and the cranking in the back. I will have to buy a single bank and put it in the back. Thanks for the concern
  5. Thanks Thanks, they are just for my trolling batteries. I will look into dual pro. thanks
  6. Hello guys, I'm in the market for a new dual bank on board battery charger. I would like to stay around the $100 price range, give or take. I was looking at the Minnkota 220D, Promariner prosport, and the NOCO genius. I don't know what to really look for, I just want something to plug in the night before a trip and don't have to worry about it. I'm open to all options and any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks
  7. I like the idea of removing it
  8. Welcome from margate Florida in broward county
  9. I would put the hds 9 at the bow then buy a hds 7 with structure scan and put it at the counsel. I recommend structure scan at the bow
  10. Try switching the relays. That happen to me. It's a boat, you will always have something even new boat and especially older ones.
  11. I never will go to any johnson/evinrude, i never had luck but that is me This is exactly what I'm saying
  12. Any open team tournaments in south Florida? I only know about king of the glades. Thanks in advance.
  13. I use swimbaits. How do you rig them? Thanks
  14. Hello guys, I currently live in Margate, South Florida. I have visited Okeechobee several times but need help to understand it. I fishing out of South bay RV boat ramp nearby Slims fish camp. I mainly fish Cuts along the rim canal and flats on the side of trails leading to the big lake. This weekend I fished a small area of grass flats along the big lake. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
  15. I buy only used boat but wouldn't buy a motor older than 1999. Thats just me, there is just something about them. Also never buy a Force motor, absolute junk. Also I never had luck with older Evinrude and Johnsons, many people do but personally I would never buy one.
  16. Never fished there but close by is holiday park. Great spot.
  17. I own a tcs rod and they have smaller guides than normal but not micro. Should I buy rod glove on standard or micro size? Thanks
  18. Hello, I just received a 7'3" heavy tcs rod for Christmas. I really love it. I am interested in buy another. I can't decide between the 7' med-heavy or the 7' heavy. I live in south Florida so I throw what ever that can get through the weeds, like t-rigs, jigs, spinner baits, swim jigs, etc. I am not sure if I should go with another heavy but shorter or a medium heavy. I know the best all around rod is med-heavy but many reviews say the med-heavy feels like a med-light. Any thought and advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  19. I would buy a used glass boat. You will save a lot of $$$
