  1. Hello, I have a 1994 Storm bass boat that I will need a new cover for. Unfortanley I have to store the boat outside so I cover is a necessity. I have a custom canvas cover from 1999 the guy gave me when I bought the boat but after twenty years the cover is starting to wear out and rip. I have asked a friend to sew the cover several times but begins to rip in a new spot, the cover has lasted longer than need be. I was looking into getting a cover recreated or just a new cover made but the prices are ridiculous, $1,200-$3,500. I understand you get what you pay for but the boat is a 1994, a cover shouldn't cost as much as a boat. Do any of you have any recommendations for a cover I can buy at a store? I tried the Cabelas RSS and for $250 it fits awful. Seems like a nice cover but the fit sucks. I really like a cover that goes over the motor and the front pedestal seat to no water can pool in the boat. So do you have any recommendations? Any help would be apricated.
  2. geo g hit it on the nose. The Alley has been good for afternoon and night fishing if you are interested.
  3. Ok I’ll think about it, does that cover have enough slack on the top so I can put a PVC structure? Also is it big enough to cover the motor? Also do the tie down straps have to go all away around the boat? Thanks
  4. Hello, I have a 1994 Storm bass boat that I have to keep outside. I currently just use a large tarp to cover the boat and that has been working for a while. Lately with all this rain down here in South Florida, I can't seem to keep my boat dry. The tarp is not pitched or anything so the water pools up on it. My thoughts are to purchase a boat cover, universal, and do away with the tarp. Along with a cover, I was thinking to make a PVC structure to keep water from pooling up on the boat. Do you have any recommendations on covers, setups, or anything that will help? Thanks for your time and tight lines
  5. I'm going to fish there for the first time on Feb 10th and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions about how and where to start. Is one area better than another etc? I don't expect your honey holes, just a general idea and any suggestions you can give. Thanks Jack
  6. Good afternoon, I'm interested in purchasing one. I fish south Florida and grass is everywhere. Do any of you prefer one over the other? Thanks
  7. Hey guys, I plan on heading out to lake okeechobee this weekend, it's been quite a while since I've been there. Last time out the water was extremely low, I heard it has come up but is it high enough to run Boy Scout cut safely? Also how's the fishing been? Any recommendations? Thanks
  8. Yeah all my fish were caught on the canal that runs parallel to I-75
  9. I went to the alley on Saturday night, it was pretty good actually. The homestead hawg hunters had a tourney going on so there way quite a bit of boats out there. I was catching 2 pounder very frequently and lost 2 nice ones. If I put some more time in I could of put an OK bag. 21 pounds won the tourney, pretty solid
  10. Thanks, I'll probably just head out to the alley because I don't have to much confidence in the flats, I just do know where to go, thanks
  11. I wasn't planning on going out there Saturday night because there having that tourney next weekend, I wanted to see if it's even worth trying. What's your recommendations, there or maybe holiday and get out in the flats?
  12. For me mapping is the most important aspect so that's why I said garmin
  13. Wow, wish I knew that when I was there last time lol
  14. Did you check humminbird chart select? It's around $30 per lake, if you like it then you can get lake master chip
