  1. I am down here in South Carolina and a lot of Largemouths have spawned out and in a post spawn trend. Water temp is Mid 60's in large lakes and mid 70's in ponds.
  2. This past Sunday my Pinnacle Deadbolt spinning reel snapped at the neck when I was fighting a fish. It is crazy because this is the 3rd time I have had a spinning reel break in the same neck area. The first one was fairly new Abu model which snapped in the exact same manner, my local dealer where I purchased it gave me a replacement and it also broke exactly in the same spot. The Pinnacle is a reel I have used for 10 plus years. I have fished mostly spinning reels all my life and have never had one snap until lately. I am pond fishing for Largemouths using a 6 ft med stiff rod and # 30lb (8 lb diameter ) power-pro braid. Wondering if anyone else has had this problem. ( I hand-lined in all three fish so it wasn't a total loss )
