  1. I am selling (3) 13 Fishing Concept A Reels. These are the Original version, all are 7.3:1 and are RH reels. All in great, like new shape, spooled with 12lb. Trilene XL. Selling all as a lot, asking $330 local pickup in NE Ohio, or add $12 for shipping in the US. Do not want to split up. Shoot me a message if interested.
  2. Thanks Ed, So the speed paddle and the pilot pickup, are those used for the dash speedometer? I'm trying to determine is they are for the dash of an old fish finder that was previously on the boat.
  3. hey guys a few questions about the wiring for (2) Lowrance HDS7 Touch units. - The yellow wire that is the cable bundle with the red and black wire, do i use this? Do i connect this to the yellow wire of the 2nds HDS7? or do i just cut it off and tape over it and disregard. - I am using an Ethernet cable to link the two units together so they will share structure scan, i want the front unit to run off the built in sonar in the minnkota trolling motor and the rear unit to run off the lowrance transducer mounted on the rear of the boat. can i achieve this by simple hooking each transducer to the corresponding HDS? Or will the Ethernet cable make both units run off the rear transducer? - what are these two sensors shown below? Are these from an old fish finder or do these calculate the speed for the main console? Do i need either of these anymore? appreciate the help!
  4. i originally was just going to put a single 9 at the front of the boat due to it having the bigger screen. Now i see it is beneficial to have one at the front and the console. I am now going to go with a 7 at the front and a 7 at the console. No HDS9 if i get the two HDS7's
  5. i was thinking one 7 at the bow and one 7 at the console. would i need the LSS box since the Gen2 touch units have the built in Structure Scan?
  6. Hey Guys, I have a Bass Tracker Tournament TX17 and I want to add either one Lowrance Gen2 Touch HDS9 or two Gen2 Touch HDS7's. With the current price drop, i can get two of the HDS7's for the price of an HDS9. I have some questions: - I already have a new structure scan transducer, can one SS transducer provide two units with SS? - My front Minn Kota has the built in sonar, does this mean i don't need to run an additional transducer for the unit in the front of the boat? But i would need a transducer for the console unit for it to function when cruising with the trolling motor up? - I think this question is a no brainer, but for the price wouldn't two of the HDS7's serve me better than just having one HDS9 in the front of the boat? I know the larger screen of the HDS9 is nice, but then i would only have one unit. Any other info on how to run two HDS7's together with SS would be great. Thanks!
  7. Looking for a windshield for a 1992 Bass Tracker tournament TX17. Just purchased boat and the windshield is missing. Looking for a used OEM one for a decent price. I know there are companies that can reproduce them, but they are expensive. 216-536-1500 text. Thanks!
  8. good point, i guess i could just measure the original one that is on it now. If it is 45", is there any advantage/disadvantage if i get the 52"?
  9. hey guys, i have a 1992 bass Tracker Tournament TX-17 and am putting a new Minn Kota trolling motor on it. I know there is a way to measure for the trolling motor shaft when you're on the water, but the boat and trailer aren't transferred over yet so i have no way to get it to the lake yet. I know this is a popular boat, and was just wondering what those who own the same boat use for shaft length (45" or 52"). I fish mostly inland lakes that don't get too choppy at all. Any help from those who have a bass tracker would be greatly appreciated! Thanks,
  10. the only experience i have had with Minn Kota motors is their Powerdrive (not sure if they even make them anymore) It was electric steering and had the worst pedal I've ever tried to use, I've also had a motor-guide with the cable steer and liked that feel better. I do want a cable steer for sure. It looks like i will either looks for a Maxxum or a Fortrex. Looks like they both come in 80lb thrust while remaining 24v. Ill look for a good deal on a used one before i resort to new. NathanW, thanks for that post it cleared up a lot for me!
  11. Just bought a Bass Tracker Tournament TX17 and it has the factory trolling motor from 1992. Want to upgrade to a Minn Kota. Looking on their website i see they have several model (Edge, Maxxum, Fortex and Terrova). Which model is the best bang for the buck? Obviously i want the highest thrust i can get for the best price. I know the pedals seem different etc. Just looking for recommendations as to which model is the best all around trolling motor and why.
  12. Hey guys, I'm looking to order some new shallow-mid and deep diving crankbaits tomorrow for the tournaments this year. It would be really helpful if you could reply with a few of each of your favorites and your favorite color pattern for each. I've read multiple threads on the forums but they were somewhat old. Looking for the latest and greatest! I appreciate it!
