  1. Paradise tackle jigs. Hands down. If i could have one jig for the rest of time. It would be a 3/4 oz P.T. f.b. jig in texas craw. Trailers dont really much to me. Some kinda craw or beaver. Havoks are good and cheap! Rage craws if you wanna pay double
  2. Weighed on a scale using pounds and ounces. Will post pic of fish on the brecknell tomorrow
  3. Funny you say.. im gonna mail the jig to the winner see what they can do with it ! Maybe the winner can mail it to someone before it gets donated to the lake
  4. Guess the weight. Winner gets a prize. Picture taken on a 25 inch "slot lake" edition check it stick
  5. Ive always fished jigs, but more so when i got a boat and good electonics. I do flip and pitch , but my favorite is dragging footballs over off shore stuff. I havnt thrown a c rig in a few years because of the football jig. My favorite jig cadence is to drag slow inching along. Pop slack to work the skirt.(especially if i think im coming over a rock or lay down) and maybe a stroke or 2 all in the same retrive. Often times bass will follow it all the way up and take it at the boat in 20 plus feet of water.
  6. I fish big baits. Hardly ever in a tournament.
  7. Ill pay to have it shipped to me. Let me try it out
  8. You need to affix reels, spool string, thread eyes, tie lure, go to favorite honey hole and cast at some good looking submerged brush, grass,or rocks.
  9. I have both. Performance is difference is nominal if any.
  10. No i believe they still have the champion and dobyns extreme line of rods. I have several of both ive yet to fish an extacy though. I own an nrx, never fished a conquest iether.
  11. Dobyns extacy
  12. Big glides will get 100 followers for every few bites.
  13. I dont think huddleston has ever produced glide baits. That question is mis leading. Other wise a cool game. Thanks for sharing! Loved it
  14. Come on man! Haha If i had to choose one its easy for me 3/4 paradise tackle football jig Rage craw trailer
  15. Heat works well. Alot of swimbait guys keep a soldering torch for quick repairs. Ive had days with baits in rotation curing with mendit. I like the torch waay better and it sets up much quicker. But still use both. Mend it is much more forgiving.
  16. T rig zoom magnum lizard Weightless trig fluke Jig rage craw C rig zoom magnum lizard Drop shot. Robo worm Ned rig - wont do it.
  17. From a yak you have luxury of being able to put in just about anywhere thats open to the public. If it were me id pick 2 or 3 areas. Id launch at either coffee creek, or running, from the 2966 bridge or both. For half the day. Then id load up drive over to quail hollow in little caney and finish the day there. Be prepared to contend with a bunch of bass boats !
  18. If you can find a yak no problem. Put in some where in one of the many coves and get after it! Id stay away from the main lake. For the full experience reccomend hiring a guide. I know a few really good ones. Also many other lakes in the area. Canton city lake is a sleeper and its got MEGAS
  19. Should be throwin back a cold one inside somewhere watching football!
  20. 6 inch G.L. lizard . Motoroil. Was what i leanred on. To this day i prefer an 8 inch lizard no matter what season or water temp. For t rig.
