Braid is the most sensitive on a tight line. Any slack and it's zero sensitivity. F/c in my hands isn't far behind braid. But is much better sensitivity on a slack line. I switched to braid at the beginning of the year for c rig, paired with an nrx 873 crr, the lightest bites. Feel violent.
Maybe sac for nor cal, got delta clear lake, new melones, lake X, not super close to any thing but close enough for die hard like us. I lived in ukiah (20 mins from clear lake) for 4 years, and 10 miles from Fork for the majority of my life. I'm very fortunate.
I was gonna say Mayflower,tx for that same reason. But. The best imo is Winnsboro, Tx has Fork right there and close to a dozen awesome sleeper lakes that get over looked. San Diego , Ca crossed my mind but nah. You'll get fee'd up the a $$ before you get to wet a line.
I am left handed. I Cast with the left hand and reel with the right. I learned to fish with a zebco then straight to a hand me down Shakespeare president 1980. Hadn't fished a spinning reel until becoming pretty proficient with a b.c. I have a hard time reeling left handed.
Awesome pics. I lived in ukiah for 5 years before moving back to Texas several good lakes up there. And I second that the trout color works everywhere. It gets crushed over here and I'm positive these fish have never seen a trout. I'm trying to keep this swimbait bite a secret. Because it's blowing up. Luckily most people won't commit to big obnoxious swimbait. And I'm starting to like these 3d trout better than my hudds. Great baits
great decision. I've got shimanos that cost almost twice a new curado and though maybe a tad smoother, slightly narrower/ergonomic. More bearings in places that aren't imperative. The return of value is so marginal (I forgot what dvt. Calls this) that I'll never buy another general purpose reel other than a curado. Let's see if the I models hold up like the previous generations. I've got D's, E's and I's. Missed the boat on the G series. Due to other people's opinions although I'm sure it's not that bad either
I don't know where you're getting your information from but the U.S. certainly isn't among the top exporters of crude. Not only that we have been under an oil export ban since the 70's. I'm not an expert on the matter. But I believe you are giving false information.http://m.washingtontimes.com/news/2015/oct/11/obama-stands-firm-against-lifting-us-oil-export-ba/?page=all
it's really I'm very comfortable with shimano and the breaking system is great for me, all the shimano lay outs are basically the same. So that's what I stick with
Chrome will reflect sunlight making it appear shiny until it gets to a depth where sun doesn't penetrate. Making it appear the same color as the water. Chrome blue back rattle trap is my best all time crank
Bass sunline structure f.c. for worms and jigs. Big game 12 15 or 20 for everything else. Braid for frogs. Have braid on my c rig rod right now. I like it so far. With big game leader
