  1. Big fish eat small fish. Anytime you can present an a rig is a good time to fish it. Arig excels in structure fishing not cover(Ledges, channels, ridges, dams, Creek vends etc. Not pads docks timber grass. That being said I have caught fish on big spawning flats ready to pop. IMO.! Regards, dumb ol boy from Texas that snags a good one every now and then.
  2. I wonDer if that duckling got put there. Never have I ever seen a baby duck swim that far away from the rest of the brood and mother
  3. Yeah trout. Found a state park Lake showed up the day of the stock. They dropped the trout and about 30 mins later it started to happen. There was discovery Channel style straight carnage for the next few hours. Ended up with two fish. 6.9 was the biggest. The second pic was a smaller fish but still had a trout in her throat. It was one of the coolest days I've had on the water. P.s. I wasn't kidding about the total carnage. It triggered Bass behavior unlike anything I've ever seen.
  4. I'm sure. Here's another hint
  5. Can someone tell me whathat makes sv spool better
  6. Had some really good days . New years day 2016 I was on a great bite the prior week caught my only d.d. for the year on 1/1/16. Just over 10. This year was my first father's days as a new dad. On father's day Sunday it was hot as he'll here. Caught fish all day. Then got on a school of big bass around 3 and went literally 3 hours and didn't make 3 consecutive cast without catching a fish. Idk how many. Wouldn't doubt if it was over 100. And big ones. Didn't weigh any but the biggest was probably pushing 7 pounds. I was sad because my dad couldnt make it here this year. Or he would have been there share that special day on the lake with me. Those 2 stand out. Alot I loved it. But it's days like that I wish I wasn't fishing alone.

  9. Which of your children is your favorite? my favorite is usually the one I just broke down for a deep cleaning and/ or the one with the freshest line.
  10. Catch a teener. and if I do its not going to tpwd for the sal program.
  11. When fishing big baits also 5+ Oz it's not about fighting the fish . it's about grinding her to the boat asap. so when you get that monster in you can enjoy holding weighing her. take a quick pic and sending her on her way.
  12. U wanna sell the last one to me ?
  13. Falcon Cara st Amistad
  14. pick the rod and line according to the cover you fish. alot of these west coast guys are going with 8-12 pound flouro. that's suicide where I live. nrx 873 crr with a curado and 15 -20 pound tatsu. can't put it down. even thought it's a built crig rod I believe it's the perfect trig rod for me
  15. I'd like to fall in love with the spinner bait again. Hope these phonies don't live up to their name. Feels small. #not a Hinkle #hope I'm wrong
  16. I second the 3d gill. Pretty versatile. And gets bit. Most of the cheaper glides in my experience have an x motion and glide very little on the pause . Most fold up an die. Good glides are hard to come by and touchy they don't get bit as often as the soft baits do. The good ones have drawing power like you can't believe. Save up and get a bullshooter. Or a phoney or Hinkle if you can find one paint it how you like.
  17. Welcome to the club
  18. Jdm game on point. I'd love to fish with you one day. Wouldn't mind flinging a senko with one of those rigs.
  19. O my... Definitely a spendy shimano of the jdm d.c. variety.
  20. The bass caught by Mike Gilbert in the working class zero video "seventeen" was caught again 2 or 3 years later and only weighed 13 pounds
  21. My vote goes to falcon lowrider amistad
