  1. Yeah check out the swim video ofnhisn4npiece gill pretty crazy
  2. 60$ apiece for the gills .he's on i.g. and for a one man band garage bait. I received them very fast.
  3. Couple of baits from Clayton Sly. The 4 piece gill in xss. Can be fished at a snails pace and still have a great action. Havnt thrown them much. That bite isn't really here yet. But I have gotten one really big follower. I'm excited about the 4 piece baits.
  4. Match the hatch with a Chartrues black and yellow h&h spinner bait. Gets email everyou time
  5. On the conquest 50?
  6. 10 Hinkle trouts
  7. Deps 250, if the bite is tough and I'm fishing for "just a bite" might as well be a big one. Every once in a while it pays off. But alot of times it dont
  8. Good old chicken ish rig. How ever were about 70 miles down the road from Hubbard and the rig is a little different here
  9. That's right bro. Way to stick them big girls!!
  10. Vmc pretty good. However I've gotten to where I'd rather fish a swing head jig almost always. Mostly quarter ounce. I'll go up to half and down to 1/8. Depending on the wind cover bait and rod/line setup I'm using
  11. My favorite Lake is a Power plantLake. It just works out
  12. Nice any overs for the tourney
  13. So. I want to build some thing. Budget friendly that I can test knots head to head. So far I'm thinking a frame with a crank on one end with anti reverse gear and catch, similar to the winch on a boat trailer. With a fixed eye on one end or something. Then get a length of line tie two different knots to some hooks (with clipped points for safety) hook them to the crank and the anchored eye and start cranking.... There's has got to be someone more creative than I. Input needed please. GO!
  14. Thank for the heads up A Jay! That's a sweet deal. Lord knows the last thing I need is to fall in love with an Antares though. Im sure I'll try and think yeah my curados are waay better. Bahaha
  15. http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Shimano_Tranx_Casting_Reels/descpage-TRX30.html yessir. That's what I interpret as far as the pre orders go... and I'm just saying I wish some of the local tackle shops get a new tranx in Stock so I can actually feel it spin the handle. Free spool that bad boy, palm it, pop the side plates all that good stuff. You're from N.e. Tx as am I. Oak Ridge on 154 @ fork is good about having the best of the best. And they have imo. The best swimbait gear in the area. Mr. Ernie Dye over at lake fork resort is great too. He'll order anything you want. But I'd suspect one of those to have one before too long. I'll keep my eyes open.
  16. Yup I've had my eye on them. You can prevent order from tackle warehouse ships jan31. I'm hoping some shops get them in so we can get our paws on one
  17. Nrx 873 crr is a shining star. I have many high end rigs but this rod is just pure joy in the hands. Even though it's a c rig rod. It's my favorite t rig rod. And jig rod. And c rig rod. Sorry didn't really answer the question in regards to chatterbaits and swimbaits. But for that. An e6x, or imx 844 mbr would be a good place to start
  18. Cashews. If anything. Or pack a lunch. Find a shade tree. Or dock at a marina and grub down
  19. Casting with both hands.
  20. For the last 10 or 11 years all I've bought is shimano reels. Some days I wish I could trade in all my shimanos for the equal diawa counter part. And see what I like
  21. Man. The cove where they dropped the trout came alive. Trout surfacing everywhere. Bass surfacing after. The trout were flying, swimming for there lives. A few beached them selves. The tules were shaking it was gnarly.
  22. Here's a dead one I found over Christmas fishing the canals in el centro ca. 2.6 in the scale. That's a 7 inch bait next to it for reference. Biggest gill I've ever seen
