Can you fish buck tail jigs in stained to muddy water conditions? I'm thinking about making some to use but not sure if they will work for the water I fish.
When I'm pouring my jigs I have to keep my mold really hot. If not the jig doesn't pour all the way. I have watched YouTube videos and what I have seen nobody is having to get there molds that hot. I'm wondering if there is something I'm doing wrong.
Jiggin' that one looks good. I just started making them. I still have some more stuff the learn. But for the most part they have turned out pretty good.
The way I do it is use a small wire to clean it out as soon as you dip it. Also when baking them hang them with the heads up. I have more pictures I'm going to post.
Ok thanks Jiggin. I'm pouring powder coating and making the skirts myself. It has been a learning curve that for sure but I have gotten pretty good at making them.
I have been bass fishing for eight years. I recently started tournament fishing and making my own jigs. Bass fishing is a passion of mine I think about it all the time.
