  1. Haha, maybe not 34 inches. I wasn't talking about that one XD
  2. Oh it is definitely possible. All of my biggest fish (to 6lb 7oz) have come out of ponds that are no more than an acre and a half. There just needs to be enough food and some good water depth somewhere in the pond. If the conditions are right, it is more than plausible.
  3. It"s either bluegills messing with you or your hook is too small and doesn't take up enough of the bait.
  4. Haha, too many. That's all I have to say about that
  5. *smallies (autocorrect probs)
  6. A allies are gorgeous aren't they? I love the way they look.
  7. That looks like a good time. Bed fishing is exciting. Site fishing is the bomb.
  8. Wow, you got lucky with that hook out. It's always scary when something unexpected like that happens.Haha, idk how they do it. Sometimes it seems like they aim for it in the air.
  9. That's really cool. It's amazing how far they travel.
  10. Oh I love fishing stories. Here's one: I'm in Florida with my friend (a fellow BR member) and we are fishing a residential are. Anyway, there were a lot of birds around and my friend casts right into a nice big cormorant. Needless to say, we had quite the time trying to free this bird. We eventually got it freed but not with the sacrifice of a few permanent scars on our hands and our egos. It's beak was sharp and pointy and its neck is like a snake. It'll bite you from like three feet away. Boy, what a time we had and a half with that thing. We learned our lesson there: casting accuracy is key.
  11. There a whole gaggle of plastic baits out there and nearly all of them are really lifelike. A plastic lizard with a shaky head is a good example. Plastics catch bass just as good as anything else that is intensely lifelike... and without breaking the bank.
  12. I just got a *** baitcasting reel and it is absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend them. Great company from what I have used so far.
  13. Lol, cowbells? That's funny! They should stick to fishing. They're good at that.
  14. I like to use spinnerbaits. They are typically a good search bait. For breaking a spot down, the choices in plastic baits are endless. Try a bunch and see which ones you like best. Always throw your favorite lure first. You will have the most confidence in that bait and will probably fish better with it than anything else.
