  1. I'd go with two casters and one spinning. If I don't take a spinning I aqlways regret it later.
  2. 4-6 pond line and a light action rod, guess the brand really just comes to your personal ideas
  3. I never personally thought of this, sounds like a good idea and a fast easy way to switch out.
  4. I use some broken rods myself and it doesn't seem to effect it to bad
  5. I believe i might have something like that now. I have a silver box that locks, the pole breaks down into six pieces and has a tacklebox in it
  6. thx
  7. So I've flipped docs, pitched in cover, fished deep and shallow, but I just can't get a bite on the Havoc Pit Boss. Does anyone have any suggestions before I toss these baits?

    Popr

I need some help with fsihing a popR. Should I pop it on a slack line or a tight line and should i pop with my rod tip up or down. I just need some advice
  9. chatterbait buzzbait shaky head with bush hog
  10. My favorite for docs or banks or open water period is a cahtterbait, but I'm starting to love shaky heads with bushhogs or trickworms for docks, my step dad loves shaky heads with bushhogs
  11. Hey I live in Kentucky too, I live in Boyle County and I fished a tourney at Cumberland not long ago, one of your crank baits, the silver shad that is sorta fat with pink under the bill is one my partner caught all sorts of fish on, I caught all mine a chatter bait, any color seems to work with em, also try a shaky head with non-salted trick worms or non-salted bushhogs/baby bushhogs
  12. the storm wildeye bluegill is amazing for bass, especially the smallest version. also the medium to largest size of the minnow sorry I don't know the exact weights of them I just grab off the rack and start slaying fish
  13. any curly tailed worm rigged texas or Carolina style also rapala broke back minnow that's all I really use in ponds
  14. here's my favorites in order 1.tear drop 2.tear drop 3. tear drop and you can buy these in any brand
  15. i dont catch many fish on plastics period but this year i plan on catching at least one fish ona senko and a shaky head
  16. Well I call it an emergency kit, but I fish when I can, im in high school and with football, school, and work its hard to find the time. I'm always ready though!!!
  17. So I keep a small double sided plano box (not sure its exact size) and a small pole (just a dock demon from walmart but I could break down a larger pole to put in its place) behind my truck seat. I call this my emergency fishing kit in case I suddenly get a chance to go or see a spot I want to try out, I'll always have the gear I need. I'm just wandering if anyone else has something like this and if so what kinda pole or size box do you have and what tackle you keep in it.
  18. White grubs or chartreuse grubs if you can find them, throw it in let it hit bottom and shake it
  19. I always use storm wildeye swim baits, and never leave without a rattle trap
  20. I'm ready to kill the chatter baits and rage blade, also I'm ready to throw some shaky heads and craws, but mostly the chatter bait
  21. honestly most an cahtterbait is as good as the other just find a brand that has the color you like. Also it would be good to have a rage blade if your gonna be fishing around timber, or if you wanna run the blade closer to the top.
  22. I like what he says, i got comfortable with a chatterbait, then bought some crank baits, then some jigs and straight tail flukes. I haven't had any luck with the jigs or flukes yet but like all the others i'll work until i'm confident i can catch fish with them. Just learn what baits are good for what water and learn to use it.
  23. it's aligned like a standard bass jig, thanks a lot guys
