  1. I agree, it's extremely rare sight expesially with the drought. I get around 100 bass every time I go there, along with a 6 1/2 pound bass. Unfortunately, like most fishing spots a friend told me it's a "secret"
  2. I drove over and fished a natural stream in SoCal, drains from the mountains, then to the ocean. I was fishing a while, and was catching plenty of 'regularly' looking largemouth bass. I kept fishing my drop shot, and I caught some unique looking bass. Some had a bar across the entire side, and others looked like a spotted bass almost. Can anybody identify these? (If I did anything wrong with this post I just started posting so let me know)
  3. Sorry for the late response. California ponds, but it's still pretty hot.
  4. Iv'e been fishing a golf course with top water noisy baits, and have been gettin 2-4lb chunks, but only around 2 a trip. These trips have been 3-6 hours, so I'm looking for a way to increase my numbers. Do you have any lure suggestions? Im trying texas rigged lizards and buzz baits next. (it's my second post, let me know if I'm doing anything wrong)
  5. Thanks a lot, I guess it did end up being a tiger trout. It was such an odd catch because I had just caught and released 50 rainbows then on my final cast snagged him on the belly. (Like the others he was released too!)
  6. Sorry to post this on a bass forum (still love bass fishing) but this question has been killing me! I was using a spinner bait and powerbait for trout in a pond in Utah, and foul hooked this little guy. What species of trout is this? Iv'e been told it's a tiger trout, but the pictures of tiger trouts online look significantly different. (this is also my first post, if I did anything incorrectly, let me know)
