Those are rock bass. You can tell the difference by the top spiked and their eyes.

Thats quite a bit of speed! Maybe I will pick one up next winter!

I will check into some new props. They're just so costly its hard to make the commitment!

Yeah I dont blame you, I am almost 100% sure that my boat has a GPS on the speedometer and its pretty accurate. Once the ice is gone, I will get back with you and let you know. But I am pretty certain my boat does go 40.

This is by my speedometer, I will have to check my speed on my GPS and my cell phone GPS. Also, not sure what year or stroke your motor is, 4-Strokes have come a long way.

Honestly, I really do wish I had the 75 on mine. The 60 is great, but the holeshot is sluggish. She goes 35MPH with a full load and a partner. with just myself I can get her around 40-41 pending conditions. I am not sure if you will notice much of a difference with the 50-60 motor. but do get the 4 stroke! its an awesome motor! Goodluck, its a great boat!
