  1. What are they suppose to do? Lots of factors that can't be controlled.
  2. The Pelican Catch 120 is a good fishing kayak for it's price. It has a comfortable seat and is stable enough to stand in. This is just one kayak of many that might work for you. You're going to have to put in some good research and even demo some if you can.
  3. What children watch online is up to us. Others should remain free to create the content they want, regardless of language or alcohol content. It's certainly not easy as a parent but it's still our responsibility.
  4. NuCuanoe just came out with a new model that a lot of owners are really excited about. Many are selling their existing kayaks in order to buy the new model. I'm considering doing it as well. I have a Pelican Catch 120 and a NuCanoe Frontier 12 that I might sell.
  5. Stream it from their website like before. https://www.bassmaster.com/video/bassmaster-live
  6. Going to catch and release makes much more sense.
  7. Most of MN and WI regulations are designed to protect walleye, not bass. It's ridiculous that they have a bass season in those states.
  8. I have not fished at Brushy yet but I'm planning to fish a tourney there this summer. Did you fish any of the Tuesday night tourneys on Delhi? The Mississippi River and Lake Delhi are basically my home waters.
  9. I've heard of Slay Nation tourneys but don't know a lot about them. I see people talk about them in the kayak fishing groups on facebook.
  10. I got some spinnerbaits from them. It's legit.
  11. If you want to be central then I recommend Southern Missouri or Northern Arkansas.
  12. I use the same exact one. It's cheap and works well. I put a piece of pool noodle over the part handle so it will float.
  13. I carry 9 to 10 rods most times. If I'm just going out for fun for a little bit then probably only like 4.
  14. If you're spending anything more than $15 on a Jack Hammer then you're not shopping around very well. There are sites that sell them cheaper almost everyday and some places you can get them cheaper when they are just on sale. Another way to get them cheaper is on Facebook marketplace. Even if you have a gift card, make better use of it buying other tackle that's a good price.
  15. I'm not sure I'd put all of KastKing and Piscifun's product in the same category with them. They're actually pretty good for their price.
  16. I bring a big bottle of water and a couple frozen bottles of some sports drink. I like to have a sandwich for lunch and for snacks I usually have granola bars, trail mix or jerky. The frozen sports drinks are enough to keep everything cold in my little cooler.
  17. I've been hauling my kayak using a cheap bed extender from Amazon for years now. Works great and makes it pretty easy to load.
  18. Sometimes you just need to give them a few different looks. Last year I was throwing a wacky worm at a nice smallie on a bed and he would pick it up by the end and move it away. We casted at least 10 times at him and he did the same thing every time and couldn't hook him. I finally switched to a tube and he crushed it on the first cast. It was awesome to see how different he reacted to it.
  19. The new season has begun! The site is open and ready for everyone to set their rosters for the first tourney on the St. John's River, February 11th. https://bassmasterfantasy.com/Default.aspx?
  20. I fish a bi-weekly series on a local lake for fun during the summer. I mostly focus on kayak tourneys though. Some of them are local club tourneys and the rest are larger, national tourneys.
  21. I've gone in the drink three times in my kayak. Once was from losing my balance, standing up on a windy day while my kayak was anchored. The other two times I actually flipped the whole thing and it really sucked. The time I flipped this year was the worse because it was in March and the water was only 40 degrees. I ended up with mild hypothermia symptoms only but it scared the crap out of me. Took me a while to feel comfortable out on the water again.
  22. I know I can do that but that’s not my issue. My gripe is that they have been going for more than I want to spend. Been placing a lot of $41 bids so it comes out to $50 after shipping. Haven’t been able to get lucky yet.
  23. Not sure is their products are any good but they have a good deal on their reels right now. Two for $99 right now. https://www.americantackleanglerproducts.com/products/2-pack-at-prostaff-casting-reels-left-right-hand-retrieve-available?fbclid=IwAR0_qm2r3ISi2GmjdJanPnXKT_sSPU0gXRWcQtrgXoAqOvr9po6-OPywOc8
  24. I've been putting bids on the baitcasting reels for weeks now and haven't won one for what I want to pay yet. Was hoping to get lucky with one for around $60 but they always end up being around $100.
  25. I trust his opinion but I also trust my experience with them. When they are vibrating he’s absolutely right. They don’t fit the way I like to fish a vibrating jig though.
