    That rating does not mean you can't use 6lb line. It's a spool capacity rating.its not a rating of what it can cast. I use a Lews Tournament Pro to cast 1/10 oz Ned rigs on 8lb line.

    Smaller and more compact. 6 pin 27 position externally adjustable centrifugal brakes.l would also get the 6.8 to 1.i think it looks nicer. They are all good reels it's just my preference.

    i would go with a lews tournament pro.it would be fine for that and casts a mile

    I just tested 12 feet of Sufix advance mono with a scale. Pulled to 8lbs and it stretched 9.25 inches . at 9.6 lbs it broke at knot before I could measure it.

    Anyway possible you could test Sufix Advance Mono ? I'd really like to see how it compares under your test. I know it has the least stretch of any non braid I've used.

    39 lbs of drag on a spinning reel with a graphite frame. That's laughable on so many levels. If it's true it's a recipe for snapping a neck.

    Smallies aren't hard to catch if you fish where they are. I like both. But if I'm somewhere that has smallies I prefer to catch them.
