  1. I wouldn't buy anything Diawa after that thread we recently had about their beyond poor customer service.
  2. Lews Custom light 4.9 oz. 7.5 to 1
  3. Why my just use crazy glue?
  4. Send it to DVT.
  5. Absolutely. Correct Wrong. The handle is linked direct to the pinion. That's like saying stroking a crankshaft changes gear ratios.
  6. You get snagged you wrap the line around a 1 inch wood dowel and get you lure back.I dont believe bass care about line visibility. 50 lb braid is far more sensitive than any mono and casts better. I haven't tried pro mix.
  7. I've been using braid since the 90s. Sorry if I don't believe that.
  8. 12lb braid on a baitcaster is nothing but trouble.i hope you're talking spinning or line diameter.
  9. Shoulda bought a Lew's.Yes they should have told you before work was done.
  10. I used neon lime last year in Sufix 832. It hardly faded at all and I had no bleeding. I got some yellow to start trying this year. Guys say it's even better. It also comes in white low vis green blue and camo.I always color the last 6 feet black.
  11. Lews tournament pro.Lews custom lite.Lews tournament MP.
  12. I've used 20lb braid snd 50 on bait casters. The 20 lb has far more issues and really does not cast further IMHO. I'd rather have less line issues than deal with 20lb. Then again my drags are always tight
  13. All LFS REELS are same size. All SLP ARE SAME SIZE. SLP are slightly smaller than lfs.
  14. should have bought a Lews.
  15. Lews MP and Dobyns Sierra micro at Sportsmas outtfitters under 319.
  16. That doesn't.mean the rods aren't good.
  17. Because they are light strong and sensitive. They also have a 10 year warranty. Tomato stakes do not.
  18. You ever fish with a tomato stake ?
  19. I do not own one but I do have a Patriot and a bunch of signature series. They are all great rods for the money and now have a 10 year warranty. They are all nice and light and very sensitive. The platinum have sic Fuji guides. What ton doesn't mean anything. It's how the graphite used are blended and a lot has to do with how they are bonded. There are way more factors than tonnage of graphite.
  20. I've never touched an Ark rod. I have fished some friends Dobyns and have purchased a few also .I love the Dobyns rods. The company also has a great reputation for customer service. I also own a lot of BPS Johnny Morris rods which are really hard to beat in their price points.I do think I am going Dobyns from now on..
  21. I agree 100 percent. I always fish cranks on braid with a medium fast rod. You feel everything. Just don't horse them in and you won't pull hooks out. .you have to hit rocks with them. When it hits pause it and let it float up a little like it's stunned then reel. If there's a fish it will hit it.
