  1. i think they would be great if the paint stayed on.the rest of the bait is awesome.
  2. i use a allstar 6-10 big boys pitching rod for jigs in heavy cover.it will get the biggest bass out with no problem.
  3. 10 or 15 lb sufix braid if you like braid or 10 lb.cajun red cast if you like mono.i never met a flourocarbon i liked.
  4. if i was him i'd be doing the same thing and so would a lot of us.anybody watching it should know it's just to get kids started on thinking about fishing.where it goes from there is up to the child.
  5. rapala dt 16 shad pattern and 1/2 oz. rattlin rapala shad pattern.
  6. purple 7 inch power worm is my 1st choice.
  7. i would differ with that.i think they catch more fish without the head being unpainted.and how can they call it a quality bait when the paint comes off faster than a hooker's clothes?
  8. 1 spool of sufix and you will never use powerpro again.
  9. to bad the paint falls off after 3 casts.
  10. they work as good as any if not better.as far as snags go i don't think they are any worse than any other crankbait.
  11. io pretty much count that as white.awesome color for immitating baitfish.
  12. craig i would agree with you but it actually turns greyish because it is translucent and not opaque.being that it is thin it tends to blend into backrounds.yes if you had perfectly clear water i think you would see it.most of the water is not clear and light decreases as you go down.that coupled with the fact that there are other objects in the water for the line to camoflauge against would make a thin grey line not easy to see.and of course there is always the arguement that fish are not line shy in which case we would be talking about a useless point.we also don't know if a fish sees things like we do.maybe their eyes adjust and can see things we can't.maybe they can see every kind of line made!!!i wonder if we will ever know.
  13. i catch %85 of my spinnerbait fish on a white spinnerbait.i feel it works so well because it immitates a baitfish perfectly.i'm curious to see what color is the #1 color for spinnerbaits and why.
  14. and where are we going to put all those spinnerbaits?ROFLMAO!!! ;Dthat's enough spinnerbaits that you would die before you fished them all.
  15. no.double willows are a must also.i would say you don't need a colorado willow combo like a lot of spinnerbaits have.
  16. pflueger president narrow spool.
  17. 3/8 booyah double colorado white chartreuse with silver and gold blades.there are only 3 colors you need in spinnerbaits.white or white black silver combos that look like shad,white/chartreuse and chartreuse.these colors will catch bass anytime a spinnerbait works.3/8 is the most used size.
  18. big game is not a good line for spinning.i casted 50/12 sufix on a mh spinning rod with no problem this year.30/8 sufix should work fine.if you get bite offs then use a leader.pike can bite through ANY line.
  19. then how come on shaw grigsby's show today his flouro leaders are visible in underwater shots?i have seen this numerous times on shows and have wondered about it.i just don't see that it's as invisible as it's claimed to be.
  20. BOOYAH!!! ;D
  21. why would you use power pro when there is sufix?ROFLMAO!!!! ;Dactually fireline does cast better on a spinning rod than regular braid IMHO.i don't use it but my wife does and she never had breakage or knot issues.maybe you got a bad spool.
  22. fireline is not a braid.it is fused.
