bass pro high end reels are made by pflueger.bass pro makes there own rods including the blanks.i've heard cabela's rods are loomis blanks but i don't know for sure. diawa and silstar both make reels for cabela's.
guys,he said under $200.i have to say a johnny morris signature series.then again an ugly stick with braid is more sensitive than an exspensive rod with mono.
you can snap straight down with spinning giving the jerkbait better action.it's also more comfortable to me.i p[refer baitcasting for most applications but not for jerkbaits.
i never said it dissapeared.i said it greys out and becomes less visible.anybody who has read my posts on it will know that.i have also backed that up with numerous links to scientific articles as proof.
why is it people laughed at cajun red cast but powerpro puts out a red line and it's great?i have been saying red was good for years and that it greys out and blends in.red cast will do this even faster than powerpro.if the braid turns pink just recolor it with a red permanet marker.
i've been trying to tell guys for years that flouro doesn't have any less stretch than mono.if i want a low vis line i wil use cajun red cast and save my hard earned money while getting better knot strength and easier handling line.if i want a braided line i will use sufix.
people have to learn just a micro drop will do.not the whole container of oil.i still think guys who never do any maintenance and then complain the reel gets rough are the worst.all mechanical things need some maintenace.
pflueger could build the best reel in the world but mktrout would hate it. the reel was just released so the chance of anyone other than a pflueger pro having used the reel long enough to make a qualified judgement is slim to none.
8035MG 6.2:1 9+1 200/8 8.8 $99.95
do not get salt on a magnesium reel .it will eat it.if it scratches touch it up with touch up paint.i have known guys who didn't take care of magnesium reels properly and had them corrode.
i've never used them but guys say they are noisey.the up side is they don't get bent.i still think i will stick to fuji guides.especially the titanium frame sic guides.
