  1. sufix 832 in 10 or 20 pound.
  2. you should alaways crazy glue knots with braid.it keeps the tag end neat and it will never slip.
  3. take it back and get sufix 832 in 30 lb.30 lb sufix 832 will not digg where as powerpro will until you hit 50 lb.powerpro is a 4 strand braid.sufix 832 is a 8strand braid which is much smoother and rounder.
  4. i liked pinaacles round reels but they don't make them anymore.
  5. part of the tip heavy issue might be the lack of placing the handles in the same spot as on the rods i looked at in dick's sporting goods.
  6. what is wrong with you?i love st.croix rods and have owned and fished them in the past.i found the differences in the mojo rods to be a lack of quality compared to the other st.croixs i have owned.i was considering buying one until i found this issue.i am also considering buying a legend extreme.where do you come up with i hate things i don't own?dude you are way off base.if you're talking about powerpro and loomis as examples you're furthur off base.i used powerpro for years until better lines came out.my braid choices have progressed as braided lines got better.as far as loomis goes i don't own one but i've fished with my buddies and i've seen my buddies break them constantly.i've also put up with tons of pflueger bashing on this and other forums.maybe you should think before you speak.
  7. i was in dick's the other day and compared 4 6-6 mh casting rods all the same model.all four had handles in different places.
  8. that couldn't be furthur from the truth.
  9. it doesn't sink fast enough to hurt a topwater.
  10. wow, what a deal epiditor is!!!100$ and you get a new rod.why not just pay the shipping?you paid for the second rod when you bought the first.
  11. i use sufix 832 braid over rocks in 15 feet of water banging the rocks all day and rarely need to retie.
  12. nice fishes.
  13. on the n.y.city reservoirs you cannot have any type of motor.
  14. sufix 832 sinking braid in 20 pound.trasjh the leader.it's a reaction bite.the leader is not needed.
  15. thank you.they tried this crap on us years ago and had to go back to cork.foam is to soft and doesn't transmit vibration like cork.i will admit that american rodsmith's new golf club style grips look interesting but i've never tried them.foam is cheap and looks cheap.
  16. 832 s the most sensitive braid i've used.since it sinks you get a more direct line to your bait.i didn't think you could make braid more sensitive but i was wrong.i think the gore fiber also helps it.
  17. thanks dude.that's a nice one in your avatar.
  18. if you're gonna fish with eva buy an ugly stick and match the rest of the rod to it.cork rules.
  19. titicus 7-16-11 fished titicus with lp today from 2 pm to 10 pm.it was very slow with only 1 picture worthy fish.i nailed a 5-11 on a 10 inch power worm.all 3 of my fish were on the worm.the other 2 were 2.5 each.leigh caught a bunch of cookie cutters on a senko.water temps were 85 to 87 degrees.marty was right as all fish were caught in deep weeds.it takes a lot of patience summer fishing in this hot weather.i had to go late because i worked in the morning.
  20. 832 sinks very slowly.can still be used with topwaters.i love the line the more i use it.
  21. except for the spinning reels that bound up when wet that they refused to fix.
  22. get the lp.it's lighter and smaller.you don't need more line thn it holds.
