  1. Agreed. Stellantis totally destroyed what was left.
  2. Thank God you said that. Line is a much bigger factor imho.
  3. Bb1 pro is as good as any Shimano or diawa. Comes in 3 different ratios.
  4. Or use rod balancing weights
  5. One of many reasons i use bfs
  6. Congratulations !!!! That's just awesome!!!!
  7. Team Lews SP. If you backlash one of these it's time to go all spinning.
  8. Agree 100 percent
  9. Where'd we get Lews is doing bad ? I've never heard that. As far as i know they are doing really well. They sell plenty of high end reels that compete against shimano and diawa just fine. Quantum at one point was doing really well. Can't answer what went wrong. They are currently owned by the same company that owns Lews. Why they haven't done what they did with Lews to Quantum I don't know. Maybe they have future plans.
  10. Throw it out and buy Vicious no fade braid.
  11. Totally agree with this !!! I've been criticized lots of times that I've said this.
  12. Any of the Lews models with the externally adjustable 27 point centrifugal brake.
  13. The Senko is a prime example of this. When they first came out you couldn't keep fish off them. Then I went from T rig to wacky and caught . more fish when the t rig bite slowed. 20 years later I can't buy a fish on one.
  14. It's junk now. That's way to much to get any kind of action out of the tip. 2 inches makes a big difference.
  15. I was thinking about one but someone said the warranty wasn't good. Does anybody have experience with them ?
  16. I don't fish spinning. Only had my line cut once by a zebra mussel and have never had a pike or. Pickeral bite through it and I've caught plenty of them.
  17. I would agree with that
  18. obvious that some of you don't fish around rocks with zebra mussles or in pike infested waters either. Both of those will rip through braided line like butter. I've fished with toothy fish all over and never had them cut my braid.I also fish with zebra mussels and haven't had much of an issue with that. I use 50 lb test.
  19. I've been rebuilding automotive engines and transmissions since 1978. That said I hate taking reels apart. Everything is to small. I do take them apart and clean and lube them and have even repaired a few but I'm not comfortable with it. I'd rather rebuild transmissions.
