  1. Here is a drawling of what it looks like.
  2. Tom, The outboard is a 20hp and he said he does not use it as much as he thought. H did forget to put the motor up that why it happened.
  3. Majority of the skag is still there and it looks like a piece of the corner is broke off. The person said they have had no problem with it and had it maintenance regularly an it happened when loading the boat. Also, the motor is about 5-6 years old. When do you need to change the water pump?
  4. Are the kits expensive and do they need done by a dealer? Also, what is involved and does the broken piece affect the motor?
  5. I am concidering getting an outboard motor that has a piece of the skag (fin below the prop) broke off. Will this hurt the motor or its performance in any way? Also, do you think this motor would be worth getting or should I stay clear of it?
  6. Slonezp, I am having a hard time determining what color you used for the interior. Is it red or yellow?
  7. I am looking to possibly mount self adhesive LED strip lights my 1648 flat bottom Jon boat. These will be for lighting in the interior. Has anyone already did this and have an recommendations? Also, how and where did anyone mounted them and did they last and work. Also, if people have pictures of the install to show that would be great. Thanks
  8. I have used the handles to tie off the boat to the dock but it is some what a pain to hang over the boat and tie it off in the rear. The lake I go fishing at has one hook screwed into the dock and it is hard to get my rope tight and keep the boat from moving to far away from the dock.
  9. I have a 1648 flat bottom Jon boat that I am looking for ideas of where to put a few cleats on it. I would like to see some picture of where anyone has them located throughout the boat. Especially in the front and back. Also, what style cleats are better to use and are the grip one worth getting. The cleats will only be used to tie the boat to the dock. Thank you in advance for any pictures or advice you can provide.
