Hey guys..just introducing jig fishing into my arsenal. My biggest question though is. When and why do u throw diff weighted jigs. Like ideal times for your 1/8. Or 1/4. 3/8. Etc. Any info would help greatly. Thanks guys

Swift River...check out along the palmer, ware, monson...places to camp that are not controlled camp sites and if u enjoy fly fishing or spin gear for trout this is a amazing place...just u the river and the outdoors man

Im looking for lake maps for some lakes in CT..the kind of maps that show contour lines and that kind of stuff. If someone could even point me in the direction of where to find the paper maps like that would be great...thank you guys

hello everyone, name is Greg, 8 yr veteran of the infantry u.s. army. im 32 years old and moved back home 4 years ago...love to fish...fish...fish..the wifey...and fish..i belong to the northern CT bass angler club which we will fish a 9 lake/river tourney trail..also belong to a small motor club in mass as well and fish that club too..deff lurked on the site before checking it out and seeing what it was all about and finally joined today...its great and im happy to be a part of BassResource.com looking forward to posting more as well as reading more interesting posts from members tite lines everyone -greg

I started using Seaguar red label last season and absolutely love it. For the brand and the price I don't think it can be beat. Another one I really like is vicious 100% flouro too another good line for cheap

I live in MA but fish the Northern CT Bass Anglers. Club out of Enfield. Good club too..anyways I received our tourney schedule a couple months ago and was floored that candle didn't make it. Ive never fished candlewood and would love too..looks like I need to just take a trip myself with the way you guys talk about the place
