  1. The Burner Craw, Why Not, and Ace are awesome baits and they have some really cool colors to go along with their baits.
  2. Another vote here for the Strike King Red Eye Shad. I have caught countless fish on the gold and black back finish.
  3. I do enjoy buying from smaller bait companies but for jigs I will never buy from another large company. You can get much better quality jigs from people working out of a garage making custom jigs.
  4. Seibert outdoors and rage tail
  5. Bank fishing is usually seen as casting far from the bank towards the middle of the pond but I've had a lot of my success casting along the shore line. That being said, stealth has a lot to do with bank fishing. A spooked fish is usually a extremely difficult fish to catch. Walking lightly near and up to the bank is important and I've even known people to go as far as wearing camo while bank fishing. Best of luck to you and tight lines!
  6. I personally own a bait binder and I wouldn't suggest it. It works fine but it does nothing more then what a gallon freezer bag would do.
  7. Gamblers "why not" is a great pitching bait. It's definitely worthy of a try. Great color selection and durability. Also, as mentioned above you cant go wrong with missile baits D bomb.
  8. 3/8 oz. Jig and a stick style bait t - rigged or weightless are by far the best for me in my waters.
  9. Zoom horny toad in heavy rain last summer
  10. Gambler released a soft plastic not too long ago called the "Burner Craw" I found it to be a great chatterbait trailer
  11. Gambler "Why not" and the new Gambler "Burner Craw" have been my go to lately
  12. I just picked up a Fitzgerald 7'3" heavy/fast from TW. I should get my hands on it Thursday.
  13. Flipping timber and skipping jigs under over hanging trees has paid off for me the past month or so
  14. the 8" Zoom lizard has been good to me this Spring. I've consistently caught decent sized fish with it Texas rigged.
  15. thank yall!
  16. Hey y'all, I am new to the forums but have been using this site for a year or 2 now to get some opinions on tactics for bass fishing and tackle. I would just like to say that every post I have read on here has help me either become a better fishermen or help me get the tackle that I think will fit me best. I have been fishing for as long as I can remember, I grew up in Georgia but currently live in North Florida. I started out fishing in one of the most common ways, with my Dad, but I wouldn't have it any other way. he has showed me a majority of everything I know and has given me the love of fishing. I am really looking forward to finally joining the great conversations we have on here. Go Dawgs.
