  12. Just outside of Detroit Michigan. Lake St Clair (LSC), Lake Erie, Lake Michigan, and all inland lakes, tributaries, rivers, etc is where i fish. LSC is where i spend most of my time. Depending on time of year, depth, sky, and water conditions: Live bait, spinnerbaits, swimbaits, tubes, drop shot, cranks, wacky, NED, Texas, jigs. Use them all.
  13. I have the Schumacher stated above. 2015 model. Great unit. I also have a 1969 Schumacher trickle charge. Still works.
  14. Anyone have knowledge of these? Thinking of getting one for family n fishing n keeping my Lund too.
  15. Went to Ultimate Fishing Show in Novi, Michigan today. Tubes from Wayne Carpenter of Lake St Clair; Ztech finesse and TRD worms for Ned rigging, some Shroomz jigs for Ned rigs, Snack Daddy craws in Roseville, Michigan - very nice. Great action. Great price. And a bag for bottom bouncers. $2. Lots of college fishing teams with own booths. Selling their hand made jigs, worms etc. CMU in Michigan- real nice natural rubber jigs where strands stand up- wire tied strands- durable available in football, finesse, Arkie style. $4 for 5. Use with Snack Daddy craws. The show was packed. KVD, Mark Martin n more. Once a year fun. Last day tomorrow.
  16. Thanks Glenn. Absolutely love Bassresource. Welcome new member Jimmy.

  18. The Ultimate Fishing Show started January 7, 2016 and runs thru January 10, 2016 in Novi, Michigan at Suburban Showplace. This is the Detroit area largest annual fishing show. Tackle, Boats, Pro Angler Demonstrations and Seminars, Outfitters, and more. See online for exhibitors and schedule of events, etc. Enjoy.
  19. Congrats on the sweet Lund. Enjoy.
  20. I have a 1991 elpto 2 stroke 4 cyl oil injected Mercury. Still running great 24 years later. Its on a 16 foot Lund. Good on gas. Gets up to 29mph with two people. Easy to service. Good luck.
  21. I have a 1991 Lund Angler 1600. I always put trailer far enough into water so boat slides off carpeted bunks. I also use carpeted guide bunks on sides. Love this boat. Console steering with tilt and trim. Though gunwales could be deeper and boat wider. Its 76 inches wide. I fish mostly Lake St Clair. If waves get over 2 feet i start to not like the handling. So often i switch to inland lakes. I also have 3 rollers to guide the keel up. Best of luck in your selection.
  22. As wayne said, deep cycle marine battery for trolling motors.
  23. Deka as above. I use and are great.
  24. Ice fish. Read fishing books n mags, organize tackle, keep batteries charged once a month, restring some reels, research bodiesvof water. Stare at boat.
  25. Wayne is right. Try a non chirp Lowrance elite 5 hdi with 2d sonar and downscan and gps for $299 incl transducer. Check out on internet for sales right now.
