  1. I always use Tic Tacs to break the ice.
  2. A 7' medium light to medium heavy Carrot Stix Wild Wild only $99.99 on Tackle Warehouse. I have the medium light. I can use it for everything; jigs, small/medium swimbaits, frogs, spinnerbaits, bladed jigs, topwaters. You name it. Pair it with a 7.1:1 reel (preferably a Lew's) and some 30-50lb. Power Pro. Great combo.
  3. What about a big innertube and a pair of flippers. It's what fly fishermen use.
  4. Braid all the way. Especially on the Carrot Stix. The sensitivity is crazy.
  5. I have to suggest a M or M/H Carrot Stix. Perfect frog rod. Put at least 50lb. Power Pro. I have three love them, and in the heat of the summer I fish frogs 90% of the time. Don't like orange? They have green.

    Pub Subs

Dude I love the Mardi Gras wings I had some Super Bowl Sunday. They are better than any other chicken wing I have ever had.
  7. Pop shadz doesn't have a boot tail, but it's also probably cheaper. I don't even know where you could get one of those 3:16 Little Boogers. They aren't for sale on their website.

    Pub Subs

I'm fairly new to the south, and have found the best subs in world. You may think they at some roadside sandwhich place or a family owned restraunt, but no they inhabit the bakery section at Publix. They absolutely put every other sandwhich place to shame. They use quality ingredients, it's always super clean, and they are actually nice. I get the same thing everytime: a whole turkey on 9 grain bread with pepper jack cheese, mayo, lettuce, onions, pickles, jalepenoes, and oil/vinegar. Why mess with perfection? The only reason I'm telling you is because, I'm a nice guy. Stop going to second rate sandwhich chains who care less if you enjoy your lunch. Go to Publix, where the bread isn't banned in Europe.
  9. Check youtube. If you don't find anything see if you can find a local charter.
  10. Might be the 3:16 lures Little Booger swimbait. Looks pretty sweet.
  11. By the way, My D10t has crazy draft I can go places that are like 3" deep.
  12. I like the 5.5" Berkely Sick Fish (disco shad) for weighted swimbait hooks. And for jigheads the Big Hammer swimbaits (bleeding trout) are awesome.
  13. Are 8" Hudds big enough?
  14. That looks pretty good. I would check out the Ascends at BPS before you decide they're a good deal, and decent quality. I have the Ascend D10, it is good cheap kayak it doesn't track well at all, but I can comfortably stand on it like a paddle board, which is a huge plus with fishing. If you don't have good balance, or feel comfortable standing I wouldn't suggest it because that's the the best part of it.
  15. I saw a jerry rigged weed eater outboard on Swamp People. I've always wanted to try that.
  16. Medium light for the Pop R. Medium heavy for big wakebaits (like the new Spro rat). I prefer Carrot Stix, but anything that size would be good.
  17. I know I'm opening up a can of worms, but Carrot Stix are hard to beat. Super lightweight. Price is resonable. And the sensitivity is unbelievable. Orange not your color? Get the saltwater version, they're green. The company has been bought out, and hopefully their name isn't too tarnished. I have owned one for five years, and two more for the past season. No problems (beside some minor wear). The medium or medium heavy would be perfect for that reel, depending on what you want to use it for.
  18. Sweet. Pro looking finish. That's not easy, great job.
  19. Oh that makes sense. When it's a small company they actually care about quality and craftmanship. Not just the bottom dollar.
  20. If they were so great why are they discontinued?
  21. I used the 1500 size (on a 7' Carrot Stick) this past year. Absolutely loved it no problems, it's a great deal on TW. Caught my third biggest bass on it.
  22. Bill Belichick answer: "I'm focused on next season." And my year was like Pete Carroll: "I have some regrets."
  23. My favorite part of the whole thing was at the end when Jacob Wheeler and the other guy couldn't decide on a fist bump or high five.
  24. Just grip it and rip it.
