  1. Think about it this way you traded the Spurs for the Bobcats or are they the Hornets or the Slobcats? Anyway good trade right?
  2. "I think I just got a frostbite!"
  3. The lakes are open just having a hard time turning bites into landed fish. And I just wanted to see how long it would take for someone to catch that they are they same.
  4. Top water frogs are really good for beginners, because they can really see what the lure is doing, they are super weedless, and they're really fun. Put 20-50lb braid on whatever she is using and cinch the drag down as far as itr goes (even if it's a lighter spinning or Zebco 33). I used to catch huge redfish and trout with a mini-spin combo, so don't worry if the combo can take it. And the thing about not setting hooks, first time a decent bass crashes that frog she'll catch on pretty quick.
  5. Just got my TW order. Weedless Hudd 68 (rainbow trout) Two packs of 5" Big Hammer swim tails (Shad/Seniorita) One pack of 3" Big Hammer swim tails (sea wolf) Three packs of jigs to go with the Big Hammers (chart./plain) Dirty Jigs 1/2oz. swim jig (moonshiner) The total came to $50.06, I always try to get as close to $50 as I can.
  6. Spro Rat, Weedless Hudd 68, and Big Hammer Swimbaits.
  7. Which do you like better Checkers or Rally's?
  8. I don't take much. 1.Paddle (sometimes) 2.Rods 3.Handful of lures. 4.Something to cut line with.
  9. Does sod, pinestraw, or mulch count? If so... Sod: 6 pieces (getting them to the spot from the pallet without dropping or damaging any). Pinestraw: 7 bales (without dropping a bale to the destination from the trailer). Wheelbarrow loads of mulch: all day up hill both ways.
  10. Got any pictures of lures you've made yet?
  11. Elevator music.
  12. Sick Fish with a weighted swimbait hook. It can be buzzed on top or worked slowly with pauses in the pockets of the weeds.
  13. What about Damiki Neko rig weights? Or Voss twisted weights? On Tackle Warehouse.
  14. You know you can easily fix that by screwing in a new screw eye and putting epoxy on threads. You can get cheap screw eyes from the picture hanging section at Home Depot or Jannsnetcraft. They are only $1.89 on Jannsnetcraft.
  15. To be a Hoosier fan you just have to live in Indiana for at least 10 years, be able to like them even when they are terrible (which is most of the time), and pick them to win at least one game in every March Madness bracket you ever fill out.
  16. Even Google took a minute to find it (besides the rules didn't specify "no internet searches"). Pretty cool lure I bet it's the best popper of the lot.
  17. Wow can you imagine what kind of noise it made?
  18. I couldn't stand it, so I had to Google it.
  19. Did you weigh all the options?
  20. I think they might have "enamal" spray paint if you go with that you might not even have to seal it.
  21. What is the Heddon tiny chugger or chugger?
  22. Those look awesome for big bass.
  23. I don't get really wet mostly hands from the paddle. It actually sits pretty high. But if you're going in really cold water wear waders. If you end up getting the Ascend D10 buy another set of scupper plugs it only comes with one set. (Or I lost the other two for it)
  24. Go to the model car section get some rattle cans of spray paint. Use locking pliers to hold it while you paint it. Then I suggest two part 30 min. epoxy for the finish.
  25. Make 'em. Make a mold of an existing weight out of plaster or silicone, then pour it out of plastic weighted with tungsten. There's a video on Maklure.com where Larry makes a jig head out of the matierial I'm talking about.
