  1. I think everybody in America should drink at least 4 cups of hot black coffee everyday, no cream no sugar (that's for women and children). There would be less crime, the economy would steady itself, and everyone would generally feel better. Coke is for cleaning the decks on Naval ships. But, that's just my opinion.
  2. I've never even seen a full-grown bullfrog while fishing.
  3. Wow, I didn't realize that they put that much effort into each lure. Pretty cool find Senko.
  4. My go to answer for every thing: BEEF JERKY! Oh wait, you need my secondary answer for everything, FROGS!
  5. That's a dream job (even if it's a just foot in the door right now). That could turn into something big. Congrats.
  6. I'd tie direct with a Rapala loop knot.
  7. If it's 30" wide I'll bet you can stand in it.

    Sammy Bug

I think it looks just like a modern high-quality version of the Arbogast Jitterbug. With a prop. blade on the back.
  9. It's becoming an EGG-splosive situation.

    Sammy Bug

Anybody see the Sammy Bug, by Lucky Craft yet? I just saw it on TW, and it reminds me of something...
  11. Stand near lake, face water, and cast.
  12. Enough with the puns, I'm about to crack.
  13. EGG-cellent.
  14. Is there a way to add length to the end of a rod? I have a Carrot Stix (split grip) 8' H with a fairly short handle. I am looking for any way to add 5-8" to the end of the rod. My only idea is to cut off the EVA foam on the bottom, and cutting about a foot/foot and a half section off of a baseball bat (really just the "grip" off the bat) then drilling out the bat, and epoxy it on. It wouldn't be "clean" and maybe a little heavy, but I think it would look pretty cool. Remember it's a swimbait rod so weight wouldn't be too big of an issue (or maybe it would). Any ideas (creative or not), or is there a "professional" way to do it?
  15. The landscape industry our company doesn't but, for instance I've heard of all kinds of crazy things like "bush pulling" (taking out bushes from someone's new landscape to put on their project). Pinestraw, guys charging for 100 bales and only putting out 75 or 80. There are all sorts of rip-offs in all industries, it's just that the bad ones give the good ones a bad name. I would suggest getting a new insurance company (maybe a smaller office), it can make a big difference.
  16. It is so hot/humid in Ga. right now when you harvest green beans from the garden, they are already perfectly steamed.
  17. I saw him (I think on Bassmaster don't quote me), but like hoosierbass said it wasn't a great year for Icast...kinda boring.
  18. I prefer small companies over big ones, any day (not just one guy opperations, just not "mega" companies). Would you rather have someone who cares about what they do, doing their best to make the best lure possible, or a some distant factory, full of people who could care less? Does it cost a little more? Yes. Is it worth it? It is for me. I avoid the REALLY big companies, their stuff just doesn't appeal to me. A few of my favorites are Big Hammer, Huddleston, Bull Shad, ect. But being a lure maker, I'm probably a little biased.
  19. I used 50lb. Power Pro at first. Until my brand new Spro Rat went flying while bank fishing, luckily I was able to retreive it with the help from a pinecone (long story). I now use 25lb. Suffix Seige, no probs...so far.
  20. I fish black almost exclusively. But, I don't really think it matters too much.
  21. I just read "The Mad Fisherman" by Charlie Moore. There's hardly any actual fishing advice or tips, but it is absolutely hilarious. And I just started "Bass Myths Exploded" by Jerry Gibbs. Which is pretty awesome...so far.
  22. Bull Herring by Mike Bucca.
  23. It was Steve McQueen. It is funny about Eastwood he was a little stiff when he was young. Did not know that about Gill, but I can see it happening.
  24. Then he'll get stung by bees.
  25. Never did listen to trail boss Gill Faver. But, if he got too out of line Josh Randall ("Wanted Dead Or Alive") would set him straight. You know who played Josh Randall, right? No Googling.
