  1. Not sweating like a pig.
  2. Hmmm. If there were only a master of Flukes that could help.
  3. Two zeroes too many for me.
  4. Youtube will show you how to clean bluegill better than anyone can tell you how. And as long as the pond water isn't gross stagnent water it should be O.K. but, if you have ANY doubts, don't eat them. Fish gyros, not matter how delicious, are not worth being strapped to the John with dysentery.
  5. I caught a HUGE bluegill and three bass in maybe an hour of fishing. All with the fly rod, on a small bass bug. The fishing was above average for that pond, I don't know if it was the "Cow Moon" or not.
  6. I don't know what the problem is, but there is something bad wrong with those fish. Tell us what you find out from the lab.
  7. I'll bet it wasn't. Used to live near PCB, the fishing there and the surrounding areas is absolutely crazy. Congrats on the grand slam, not an easy thing to do.
  8. Good couple of points there, especially the 10lbs. worth of drag, I'll have to agree with you on lighter line. And seeing that tarpon in your profile pic it seems you've been around the mountain a couple of times. Where did you go to hook a big ole' tarpon like that?
  9. Those aren't far from it.
  10. 50lb. braid has the same diameter as 12lb. mono. Not that big of a stretch for a 2500 or 3000 series reel.
  11. Well they are playing the Falcons.
  12. I know you weren't calling me a blabber mouth (although there are plenty that do). My favorite balabber post is the obligatory "If you were on a deserted island with one rod, one reel, and one lure what would they be?"
  13. Anytime is frog time. Unless it's Hammer time.
  14. Very nice.
  15. Honestly, an ugly stick with 50lb. braid on 2500-3000 series reel. Would serve you pretty well. If you want a nicer rod (which from the sounds of it you do) any rod that's near the $200 is going to be a really nice rod. It would be hard to make a bad choice out of your list.
  16. I use the classic fisherman's knot with just about everything. With braid you have to thread it through the eye-let twice to keep it from slipping. It's the strongest knot I've found I have never had a fish (fresh or saltwater) break that knot when it was properly tied.
  17. Thanks, I figured it was something along those lines. Even though it (and most of what I post) is considered blabber.
  18. What do these dots stand for? <---------------
  19. Wow, you might have something there. That thing is tiny.
  20. LOL. I knew you were going to say that. I don't think anything too spectacular is going to happen either, but you never know.
  21. Welcome to Ga. and the forums.
  22. People watch too many movies, they need to go outside more.
  23. Chris Jansen "It Can Buy Me A Boat"
  24. How the heck did both of you end up with two of the best QB's in the league?
  25. Alright guys, let's not make this a neg-fest. I understand if somebody wants to share their prize (if they had won), or a question regarding the legitamacy of the scale. But, both of those questions have been answered (more than once) let's not ruin a good thing, and move on. Peace out.
