  1. It's crystal clear too. I take my dive gear sometimes when I plan to have a full day trip. I did make it back up there. I threw smaller crankbaits in a craw color, I tried a few other approaches but the flowing water can be a hassle. The crankbaits did pretty well and if they got snagged I just dive and get them since its mostly 6' or less.
  2. I use streamers, white poppers, and wooly buggers. All with good results.
  3. Here in Georgia we have a few small areas that hold smallmouth. One is the Savannah river "rapids" which is just a mile stretch of river with crystal clear water thats relatively shallow. Being that I rarely target the species I am not sure what to throw at them beside my fly rod which I've used up north. Any reccomendations would be awesome. It is only accessible by kayak. The photo attached is when the water is lower. past these rocks is open water with random rock outcrops. I pull my kayak on the ones in the open water and walk the rocks fishing both flowing and slack water. I always catch largemouth and bartrams in this same area also.
  4. Look at the vibe seaghost 130 or 110. I have both. Great storage, tracks well, factory with a raised seat thats comfortable, rudder, and paddle. I stand to fish, flyfish, and bowfish with no problems. I've caught fish over 100lbs off of mine i nthe salt with no problem. Find them used around 500-600 with accessories

  15. So last summer i picked up inshore fishing. Since then bass fishing just hasn't been the same for me. I still go but its like the excitement isn't what it used to be after being on the salt so much. What would y'all recommend to get me back in the game. Its pretty sad i went from doing extremely well in tournaments around my area to now i'm lucky to even get a bite.

  21. Just want to start a thread where we can share some mishaps on the water and have a little fun with it.... So i'll start off. Last summer my best friend and i were fishing a tournament on a local lake we both know down to the smallest creek runoff.... Or so we though. We were hitting our favorite grassbeds right outside of the marina. Water level well below normal and this lake is relatively clean so have never had any issues at all. So we are trolling along the dropoff and casting into the grass. 11' depth where the boat sits. Out of nowhere we hit a solid bump.... large rock structure out of nowhere and it breaks the rope for the trolling motor so we cant get the motor out of the water.. I spend a good 45 minutes trying to wiggle the rope around all the pins and nooks up the shaft. I finally have it and i jump up to bask in the glory of fixing this god awful thing and getting back on the water... what do you know my buddy was trying to squeeze behind me for another cast and i knock him off the front deck. I am now dying laughing at how horribly the day has gone. we finally get back on the water well after the topwater has shut down and its over 90 out now. we decide to keep hitting grass for the remainder of the day. about 11am we are cruising along another grass bed and i hear a small thump and we just stop moving... Look over the deck and the prop on the trolling motor is gone. Guess who didn't have an extra prop in the boat... WE flew back to the marina and fished the grasses there for the rest of the day. Ended up placing 2nd and had a great story to tell about ourday
  22. What i got for my ATAK was well over enough tto purchase both and deck them out to an extent... I had the ATAK fully decked out. combined i only spent about 1k combined on the 128t and the lure.
  23. Picking it up Wednesday. If I don't like it I already have a coworker interested. Haha
  24. Its $239. Kinda sucks because they're made to only accept their rudder system
  25. I plan to add the rudder to help with the maneuverability. Not sure if that'll make a huge difference but we will see.
