  1. I you do not mind Lews you can get the Super Duty in 8:1:1
  2. Im not looking at custom sorry if the post is misleading. ALX rods uses them. Their rods look good but I had never heard of their blanks and wanted to get some feedback about them before I purchased one of their rods.
  3. Anyone used them? If so how do you like them? Are they sensitive? Whats the difference between the OS and NG series? Can you compare them to St. Croix blanks (Only blanks I am familiar with) are they on par with SCIII or more like SCII maybe SCVI Thanks, Brady Leatherwood
  4. I fish lakes where a shakey-head always catches fish so I am looking for a super sensitive rod to throw them on. I mainly use 3/16 ounce but will sometimes use 1/4 ounce. Looking for the most sensitive rod for under $200 I looking at St. Croix Avid X, Phenix M1 or Bass Recon, Loomis E6X or any recommendation you guys can give. Thanks, Brady Leatherwood PS: Hopefully some people will not hijack my thread arguing because of what their rod preferences are.
  5. Thats an insane deal. Lews is a great company that makes great gear at a great price.
  6. I know right!! It gets dangerous out there.
  7. Im hooked on it. I think it is one of the realest fishing shows out there. My favorite is the Hard Merchandise. Do any of you guys like it.
  8. Thanks Felixone. I will be sure to let you know how I do. Please let me know how you do on Wateree.
  9. I went to Marion Saturday and I did pretty awful it rained pretty much the whole time. My partner and I fished above the I-95 bridge in creeks that went way back into the swamp. The main lake was so dirty it looked orange. That morning the shad spawn was on and bass were blowing up everywhere. I had a good one on a frog but it came off. My partner caught one on a white super fluke. They next action wasn't until later in the day. I caught a 1 pounder on a bluegill chatterbait and my partner caught maybe a 2 pounder on a black and blue lizard texas rigged up in some cyprus trees. That was it for the day. Felixone I would go to Wateree. If you decide to go to Marion a couple guys told us that the fishing was great at the lower end of the lake. Unfortunately we didnt have time to fish it. They said to fish Taw-Caw Creek and Goat Island. These are both close to John C boat launch.
  10. Ok Lake Wylie is my home lake and is nothing like Hartwell. It is usually pretty dingy and has no herring. The bass should be in post spawn. Try the mouths of creeks on the bottom end of the lake near Allison creek and Crowders creek. A jig, spinnerbait, and shakey-head should do well so should a squarebill like a 1.5 in a shad or bluegill pattern. Try a buzzbait in the morning. As a rule of thumb the lower end is clearer than the top end. Good Luck.
  11. Look at my opening post please. It is a little more specific.
  12. South Fork Anglers
  13. Thanks Felix. Maybe we will see each other.
