  1. Looks good
  2. I have used the walmart spinnerbaits and I have slapped wore them out with them. I have alot of sucess with the white and blue or just solid white. For some reason I catch them better with them on lake wheeler than I do on lake guntersville. I would definitely give them a try.
  3. I am going there next week to fish for a day, was wondering if y'all can give me advice on how to fish. I know it is a deep clear lake and is loaded with spotted bass. I was planning on fishing dropshot, shakyhead and finesse jigs. Thanks in advance
  4. Looks good
  5. Jig,Texas rig,and crankbait
  6. Is the grass topped out yet around goose pond or alreds? If not how close is it to topping out? I can't wait to start flipping heavy cover. Thanks in advance.
  7. Glad I could help. I love fishing Guntersville. You can catch them so many different ways unlike other lakes.
  8. I fished guntersville yesterday. I found all my fish in 7-12 ft of water in grass dragging a Carolina rig. Good Luck
  9. Thanks for advice.
  10. I am new to winter fishing,so any advice would be appreciated. I am going fishing next week on lake guntersville, how do y'all tackle a lake.Where do y'all start, I was thinking about starting on main lake points and creek channels. Am I wrong for starting there?
  11. Swimbaits,chatterbaits and jigs
  12. I been thinking about ordering stuff from mud hole and make one myself but don't know how difficult it would be.
  13. I love fishing swimbaits.I use the KVD perfect plastic swin'n caffeine shad and the KVD shadalicious swimbaits. I kill them in or on top of grass. I got numerous spots that swimbaits are the only thing they will bite. I catch them on the ledges with swimbaits because everybody else is throwing crankbaits and jigs. I use mostly a slow to moderate retrieve, great versatile bait shallow or deep.
  14. If I was you I would buy jigs in black and blue and brown, they work anywhere across the country. I would suggest looking at knockoutjigs.com, those are some great jigs and cheaper than most. The guy that owns it fishes alot of tourneys on lake guntersville and he does it on side, but his company is blowing up and will be a big name one day.
  15. I want to fish other lakes than the lake guntersville, but easier said than done.My truck seems to always go that way, that lake has some huge bass.
  16. I have bass tracker 175txw,it has a 60 HP mercury. The ride is pretty smooth, but not as smooth as your stratos.I can get in shallower places with it than most fiberglass boats. It is light so on windy days u have to fight it to keep your boat position correctly, than your stratos.I wish live well was bigger, but other than that everything ain't much difference. It is pretty stable for an alummium boat.
  17. Been fishing all my life.I fish mostly on lake guntersville.I fish wheeler and Tim's Fors also.
