I have used the walmart spinnerbaits and I have slapped wore them out with them. I have alot of sucess with the white and blue or just solid white. For some reason I catch them better with them on lake wheeler than I do on lake guntersville. I would definitely give them a try.
I am going there next week to fish for a day, was wondering if y'all can give me advice on how to fish. I know it is a deep clear lake and is loaded with spotted bass. I was planning on fishing dropshot, shakyhead and finesse jigs. Thanks in advance
Is the grass topped out yet around goose pond or alreds? If not how close is it to topping out? I can't wait to start flipping heavy cover. Thanks in advance.
I am new to winter fishing,so any advice would be appreciated. I am going fishing next week on lake guntersville, how do y'all tackle a lake.Where do y'all start, I was thinking about starting on main lake points and creek channels. Am I wrong for starting there?
I love fishing swimbaits.I use the KVD perfect plastic swin'n caffeine shad and the KVD shadalicious swimbaits. I kill them in or on top of grass. I got numerous spots that swimbaits are the only thing they will bite. I catch them on the ledges with swimbaits because everybody else is throwing crankbaits and jigs. I use mostly a slow to moderate retrieve, great versatile bait shallow or deep.
