I’m good for almost any day except maybe Black Friday cause it’s my b day and I’m not sure what me and the future wife are doing. It’s funny I saw this cause she asked earlier when our next zoom call was lol
I actually got my first finesse setup this past week. Have yet to catch a fish on it but yea. It’s a learning experience just on casting coming from a baitcaster all my life. Definitely something different. Yes you that have been in the zoom call read correctly, I now have a finesse rod ??
Ahhhhhh hopefully you made it through the storm good dean. I’ve been seeing bits and pieces checking the forums on occasion. Life’s been wild lately lol
I finally got to put the full contact finesse model in my hands man just to get a feel while I was in dsg. I was pretty impressed and decided it’s my next rod purchase
I’m gonna suggest a dobyns champion 735. I’ve been able to pitch 3/16 oz creatures and craws very well. Soft tip for a stout rod. I still use mine often even though I’ve went to a dx. If not that I would look at possibly a st croix victory h xf
Made a couple trips now post hurricane. It’s tough tough. Most the fish are gone. They did a shock study I heard today. And apparently the north end they didn’t find any bass
I think there’s other factors that play. You label it the same as champ 735 you’re going to expect the same action as the champ 735. And they behave very very different
Hey guys I know dobyns are popular around here and I’m also on that train. But I know lots of questions pop up about the mag heavy Sierra and medium heavy champ 735 differences. So I grabbed this little explanation I saw on Facebook. I hope this helps anyone that is looking to go down this route
