Aw man I got her to the top she flipped went back down 10 feet from the boat. While time my dad who was at the front was yelling did you lose her I said shut up and let me get her in lol. Heat of the moment excitement and stress lol
This is what I was thinking today. Tried spinners rattle rogues chatterbaits got nothing. Switched to the 5 inch watermelon red flake senko went fast and slow nothing. Went junebug yum dinger worked slow through the grass bam. It was a bit odd for south Louisiana this time of year
Yea I was fishing boils and top water with a 5 inch yum dinger in junebug. Thing was it was clear water so the color they went on was a little odd. The weird weather down here has kinda messed them up I guess
I do have pics but I'm on my phone so can't really post them. It amazed me though. I use yo Zurich 12# not really sure fluoro would have made a difference on feel. It wasn't a thump he'll it wasn't even a tick just kind of a vibration in the line and my line was slowly swimming sideways. It was such a great feeling to horse her out of the hydrilla
After catching one around 3lbs and my personal best of 4lbs today. I realized now what everyone is talking about on here with the bigger fish having a very light feel on the bite. Kinda crazy but I get the physics of it. I'm very new to soft plastics. I mainly just fished spinnerbaits and rat l traps my whole life. Until today I had such little confidence in my soft plastics game so today was a incredible learning experience for me to be able to get that feel for soft plastics. Also want to thank everyone on here for their help
I know Fletcher shryock beached his boat, g man almost got stuck , and palanuik may have been on someones posted land. Pretty eventful practice day. I'm just wondering who's going to be able to get in the tourist center lake in Louisiana. There's some seriously big bass in there
