  1. Kinda what I'm thinking. I know nothing about Pac bay hardware though.
  2. Would love to get one , problem is I'm trying to keep it under 120
  3. Yea I'm trying to stay around this price range and the rage does seem hard to beat at 89 dollars. Old mojo also 89 but most say it's a dead stick
  4. Problem is I'm blind buying and its down to this or the mojo,
  5. So I broke my second rod this past weekend. Both of them same rod from same company broke in same exact distance from tip down. (From a company frowned down upon here on br) So I need to get a new one for light t rigs, was looking at the 7'1 mf rage casting model on the st croix site, thoughts on this rod?
  6. I use a fury 765 for punching and love it. Handles weights from 1/4 all the way up to an ounce and a half comfortably
  7. I get that logic I just need something for more finesse plastics. I have a few mh rates 3/8 to 1 oz. I need something softer
  8. Thank y'all. I felt it today and it felt good in hand but a softer tip than I was uses too but that's what I'm in need of cause these tidal bass are getting a little finicky and all want small meals lol
  9. Seems like a great rod for the price I'm just wondering if it can do what I.need it to with that taper and have enough to drive the hook
  10. Looked at the 7 ft mh casting today, what's everyone's thoughts on it for light Texas rig?
  11. I use a mh *** o man for my light t rig even down to an 1/8 of an ounce. I fish a ton of cypress stumps and gladly sacrifice the load up for the extra power as I don't have to usually cast far. Just pitch a few feet
  12. Welcome, it's not the most popular opinion but I feel like it truly helps in that area. Maybe it's a confidence thing I don't know
  13. I had got this rod a while back in a give away, it retails for 169.99, but I'm just trying to find a use for it. My tidal river prefers smaller lures so 1/2 oz jig may be too much
  14. And this is just strictly my opinion, the shape of the t wing does give the lure a more natural fall, I use a 6'10 mh tatula rod and tat type r for my lighter t rigs and close quarters pitching. Just seems to me that instead of your standard line guide the the line has more room to play. As I said this is just strictly my opinion.
  15. I love the t wing for vertical drop presentation and I think it serves it's purpose great in that.
  16. To anyone interested tournament is next Saturday and sign up is Saturday morning starting at 4:30 and Friday evening 4 to 7
  17. 6'10 mh fast tatula for spinnerbaits chatterbaits and square bills. Hasn't failed me yet
  18. Lol someone done goofed
  19. And there it is lol had I just clicked that little link
  20. Winners announced?
  21. Just entered Wahoo
  22. I have a few of the dredge brush jigs with the owner deep throat. This jig in 3/8 Okeechobee craw color with a rage craw has been money on the toads
  23. This and oh so much this. Weightless speed craw is deadly in these areas. On that note catt I watched someone at saltwater barrier pull out a few reds and bass on this rig sunday
  24. Thanks everyone it's been a few days since I've posted I've practically lived on Calcasieu river past few days. But I digress. We're expecting a huge turnout
  25. Not sure how many guys live around here but October 3rd were holding a benefit tournament on Calcasieu river for the recently killed state trooper Steve Vincent
