  1. This year I plan on adding skirts to the Texas right for a slow bulky fall
  2. As a person that tournament fishes a tidal river regularly, I keep a jig and big plastic on on tournament day. I have sunrise to 3 to catch 5 fish, 5 small keepers equal 3 average size fish, it's all about weighing your options
  3. Dobyns to me are so balanced they're Just comfortable to fish with. Me personally, I'll give up rod weight to be comfortable
  4. The dream of one day owning a dx or one more champion
  5. I'm from Southwest la. Small world
  6. Welcome. Where are you from good sir
  7. I usually do decent when I get a chance to go. No monsters but decent numbers
  8. Bowel turn bass club
  9. I picked Indian Creek the past few years to learn it. Outside of that I had one night trip in striper alley.
  10. Yea I can't do spinning even with finesse.
  11. 3/8 oz jig and a t rigged creature bait.
  12. 4.18 pound largemouth on a quarter ounce speed craw on a Dobyns savvy 766 with 50 pound braid.
  13. Not so much a worry good sir, just trying to pick others brains on everything
  14. This is true. But on that note I'm a line watcher for the most part

  17. This is going to sound insane bug I had some success last year punching a senko
  18. My flipping stick is a Dobyns savvy 766. Most refer to it as a dead stick, but it just got me curious about this topic
  19. Is it really that important in pitching and flipping? 7 out of ten times it's hit on the fall. Just wondering trying to get differing opinions. Let's keep it clean fellas
  20. I've been curious about castaways for a while. The cx1 and skeleton v2 peaked my interest but I don't know if they fish heavier or lighter or balance or anything
  21. I use a 684 Sierra and absolutely love it
  22. Dobyns savvy micro on their website for 100. They're all rep samples. I picked up two, a 733 for spinnerbait and a 766 for flipping. Love them both and love them at the same price as a fury
  23. He always seemed like a great guy man. I love this site. I've only met I believe one guy from here and I can attest that that is one of the best people I've ever met. Not many folks hand deliver a care package of plastic to your job then hang out with you at a tackle shop
  24. I would like to elaborate on the Sierra. I use a 684 for light t rigs around Cypress stumps. While it is a tad slower it still posseses a good chunk of power. Learned that last weekend when I sent a fish flying at the boat
  25. Big thanks to all of yall. Pouring down rain here. Hopefully once it stops I'm going to hook the boat up and look for some running cuts out of marshes ont local river
