  1. ^ I'm referring to the bait ball line of lures
  2. That was a crappie joke
  3. ^ I do agree with that the fish want something new but I fish 2 states throughout the year (ohio and sc) I had more succes with a x caliber square bill over loppers and Livingston. It's different for everyone every where, it could just be a confidence thing
  4. I remember one from a few years ago that had a light in the back. They claimed it had caught 1,200 fish in 4 days they were about 15 dollars a piece never did catch a fish on one. They were straight yellow red and blue on 3 different lures. I beleive it was in field and stream.
  5. ^ I thought it was on a DT-6 or 10
  6. ^ or a 10 inch power worm he's used to having 10 inches in his mouth..... I had to say it
  7. Lately there have been some new lures coming out with sounds and light (Livingston lures) or the koppers bait ball line. How do you feel about these do they work or just for the looks of the fisherman?
  8. If you want to narrow down skirted jigs you really only need 3 to 4 head types. The best all around to me is the Arkie head you can do a lot with it skip, swim, cast whatever you feel like. Next i would put a grass jig it's very weed less and easy to master, and it often produces. After I would put a football head this works best for fishing rocks and fishing deeper water. Next I would put a finesse jig just for when the fish are finicky. The other types of jigs chatter, swim jig I see more in the spinner bait category if a spinner bait is just a little to much or if the water is clear go with the swim jig. Same goes for under spins if 2 blades are to much throw the underspins. Now we get to jig heads, shakey head being a personal favorite I normally have a shakey head tied on its very reliable and easy to fish you always want to use a work with little to no salt this is because the tail will float and have more action. That's just how I break it down also if your looking at a good jig company I strongly suggest true south custom lures. Hope this helps.
  9. It starts Black Friday west coast time. And for Christmas they have the 25 days of sales
  10. Brown to the playoffs, Super Bowl not a chance
  11. Any browns fans ? We won in a terrible fashion but did get the win.
  12. Well if the color of the trailer does not matter then why does the color of the jig matter? Would you use a bright pink jig with yellow stripes ?
  13. You would use the rattles when the water gets to be a darker color. Or you can use them at night and cloudy days it's just like using a rattle in a square bill you do so the fish can key in on where the bait is.
  14. Some one yesterday had a 26 pound bag.....
