I've seen trout hit just minutes after being stocked. Don't think it matters. Go fishing now if you can.

I don't do much dropshotting so my experience with hooks is limited. What I use is the VMC spinshot in either #1 or 1/0. Probably with a Roboworm I would go with the size 1 because they are thinner at the nose. I've also tried the Gammy wide-gap weedless hooks. Only caught 1 fish with that hooks so not much to report.

@LionHeart I understand what you are saying. You're saying it doesn't matter because you have the rod spooled with the line you are going to use for that specific lure and presentation. But sometimes anglers like to play with line diameter to get a few extra feet depth on crankbaits so they go from 15# to 12# line. If you do that on the water it is easier to just switch one reel with another. That is why its important to label reels/rods with line test. Just my opinion.

Many of us have seen lakes that for one reason or another have been decimated. My story is similar to @fishballer06. The pain is that it seems as one lake starts to get a good mix of big and average size fish, the Fish & Boat Commish finds a leak in the dam. They drain it and for years and years its either left with very little water or filled up and stocked with fry. That has happened to five lakes I've fished in the last 10 years. Some have come back, others I'm still waiting on.

Quality and quantity. I think you're gonna love the Terminator spinner baits. I'm hooked on them.

I've never fished Eufala but I'm sure there are bait and tackle shops near there that can help with specific info such as lure selection and what type of structure to look for. Stop in and ask questions. Buy a few lures and pick a few brains. They probably have the best and most current knowledge on the lake and how its fishing. Just my 2 cents.

We are missing the "Real" point! How do we know we are really who we think we are. And if we aren't who we think we are, who are we? And if we are who we think we are, how does the government know that and why can they confirm it with a piece of plastic? I think they are bluffing. I think they don't know if we are real or not. They are just playing along. Merely dancing to the music the fiddle player is making. What would happen if we decided that their I.D. wasn't real? Or better yet, if they didn't exist and were just a figment of our collective imagination? Think about it if you dare!!!

A question...do you have a problem with spinner baits not running true and straight? The only time I've had that problem was when I added a blade that was exceptionally larger than the stock blade.

I'm glad you ask that question. Nobody wants to tackle such a hot button issue on this forum but I believe I can indeed shed some light on the subject and not dance around it as many have. First let me answer the question I think you have asked. Yes but not without my pajama bottoms. Now let me answer the question you asked. As others will tell you, your question is a multi-layered one with few direct but many indirect nuances. Some will answer "tongue-in-cheek" while others will give a more concise reply. I feel nether is necessary. What must be give for a response is the absolute truth without a thought or care of ones own safety or frailty. Let me assure you I take this challenge as it is seen. To give you a glimpse into my own psyche. If unraveled, like a banner on a windy day, your question would stretch quite a long distance. I agree and disagree in equal but uneven ways. How do any of us know if luck played a part in a catch or if we subconsciously willed it to happen using the 90% of our brain we are not currently using? When does mastery of a skill become the ability to use the skill to gain the desired outcome? Do fish even get caught or surrender to those who have achieved the respect of peers whom believe said person has grown powerful in the art of angling? When does the influenced become the influencer?
