  1. Boomerang snips as everyone else said. The hemocuts from bass pro are okay the thing I don't like about them is they are really snug on my fingers and I have a hard time getting my fingers out of them lol. Could just be me though.
  2. I agree. Pencil, screwdriver, chopstick. Or throw the spool in a shoe box keep tension with your fingers.
  3. Dobyns Champion 735c
  4. I think maybe what you're getting at is you feel you're over complicating your fishing. That doesn't mean you need to go and get rid of your stuff just bring less and work on mastering particular techniques then you can decide for yourself the differences in the various types of worms you have and the place and time to use them.
  5. Boil those bad boys. They defiantly get bit out my way.
  6. Got talked into picking up a couple Megabass rods, while I do love them I don't think I ever needed them. I don't feel they were leaps and bounds better than some other rods I have for half the cost. Oh well live, learn and forget about it because fishing is forever!
  7. Might want to look at the Ascend 12t or the Vibe Sea Ghost 130. Don't forget to factor in paddle cost, Pfd and anything else most people use while kayak fishing like an anchor trolley, a kayak cart etc. There are Facebook groups for Ascend kayak owners and Vibe kayak owners which will provide you a plethora of information regarding those two brands. Also tons of YouTube videos out there. Good luck!
  8. Hey uhhh this is from 2005... Hoping they learned to flip and pitch by now
  9. The 2017 model is $650 and is no longer called the FS12T, it is now just called the 12T. The seat is adjustable forward and backward but not height adjustable. However most owners are doing a simple mod to raise the height of the seat to make it easier for getting up and standing while fishing.
  10. I love my megabass orochii xx 7'9" Aaron martens for fishing 3/4oz deep structure jigging. Just another rod to consider at $300
  11. Braid has a smller diameter so for example most 50lb braids have an equivalent diameter to most 12lb fluros and you want to try and match the diameter of your braid to the diameter of the fluro
  12. Swimjig
  13. I dono man I just pass the tag end back through the eye to get it to stand out.
  14. https://www.lastchancetackle.com/blog/content/pickjig.aspx It can be overwhelming but hopefully this blog post can get you started.
