    There's a point where you begin to overwork your lure. Also, even with things like t rig that the action isn't effected by the speed, you will be a less thorough fisherman. Many of us need help slowing ourselves down.

    Ditto... Granted it could be a great reel for jigging spoons or something like that. It is a sexy frame though, as are all of the new Daiwas IMO

    Some like fluoro some like braid. It's all a personal preference thing. I like to use braid, because my flipping setup does double duty as a frog setup. I would not use mono. As for # test, I would use 65# for braid and 20# or 25# for fluoro.

    They are probably sponsored. Most Pro Staff are guys trying to come up on the tournament circuit. But its more about the level of sponsorship than anything. There is a discounted product level, a free product level, and a free product and payment level. That is quoted from an FLW tour angler.

    Peg them when you fish heavier cover. You'll lose less. Looks like I'm gonna bite the bullet, I need the sensitivity, bad.

    Never used the Sniper stuff but that's just the nature of FC... I'm spooling mine with braid that way I have both sensitivity and handling.

    Ignorance is bliss my friend. I still like the stock Tats though. They look pretty solid. Sexy frame too

    I just use 12# on my casters and 8# on spinning. I just do this because its what I like. I like light. Or 50# braid for casters and 20# on spinning. But I don't see its a huge deal to 'max it out'

    Is their an advantage when casting? What are the advantages of brass?

    I can most certainly tell the difference. I've used both, the ones with the extra bearings are better, no matter what anybody says.

    Saying they are pointless is an ignorant statement. Bearings will help your handle knobs hold up better.
