  1. Ice fisherman are known to do both of these as well.
  2. Lew's Tournament Pros are going on sale for $149 with the introduction of the new LFS model. Originally retailed for $200. That would be my suggestion
  3. What is it about Gambler that you Florida guys love? Just curious.
  4. You could try the Deeper fishfinder. Not the greatest thing, but would at least give you a view of bottom comp and depth.
  5. I wear a $15 pair of Berkley's for driving and working. Good glasses for a solid price. Knockaround also makes a stylish polarized pair of glasses with a nice feel for $24. They are probably the best low end glasses I've ever felt. Great for wearing around town or while boarding and on the beach as well. I put some Guy Harvey keepers behind them, and I look like the ultimate skipper
  6. Buy yourself a 7-7'3" MH rod and pair it with a 7:1 reel for contact baits would be my idea.... Decide what direction you want to go in, and then don't deviate from that direction.
  7. Because you pick up vibrations through a line regardless of stretch, but better if it is more dense, but less stretch means the line will actually react (ie. line jump) which is more visible, or am I getting this wrong?
  8. Not sure how they compare but I will never buy a rod with a white blank.... ewww.
  9. So, how would you work that? Like a weedless spoon? What kinda gear do you plan on fishing it on?
  10. Looks like I might look into this. I catch a lot of fish on lipless and squarebill crankbaits, and the action of this thing would probably be just killer, depending on how it comes through the coontail and hydrilla in my area.
  11. Is that a BPS Extreme rod? I love mine for squarebills.
  12. In tournaments my strategy would be something that can cover water. A fluke would definitely be a part of this, in some different situations especially so. I don't think I'd start with a shaky head, depending on where I am fishing, but if I can't get a limit in the boat after covering water, I would probably go to a shaky head and try and scrape out a limit at the end of the day.
  13. This is a neat idea. I really like making my own foods because I really get to control what is in it. I really like beef jerky, and it is much better for you than many other snacks, but many brands are chocked full of preservatives. Make your own, no preservatives!
  14. Question being... Are you new to bass fishing altogether? Do you already have some gear? If so, what do you have? How do you like to fish? All of these play into it as well as budget.
  15. Welp... There's all my insecurities summed up in one post
  16. Kinda like a big, pegged weight. I figure some of the bigger fish around here would eat it up though
  17. Pictures of cereal are generally done with glue rather than milk so it looks "more white"
  18. Lew's for 99 bones. This is going to make some people mad around these parts, but if you pay MSRP just buy anything that's not a Pro Qualifier.
  19. How much are longer arms? Where can I purchase?
  20. Glenn I love seeing your stuff from ICast. While it may not have been the first coverage up, you got coverage of some of the most exciting products, especially some of the new stuff by Savage Gear, Lew's and Power Pole. You also ask the important questions, ones that we usually don't get answers to in other videos. Hats off to you.
  21. Rapala weedless shad?
  22. Interesting. I love my Booyah Pad Crasher and Poppin Pad Crashers a lot, especially for the price. All I do is trim the legs. Never really though to branch out. Good observation on the Topwaters, I'll make a mental not if that for when I get one.
  23. Anybody here get there biggest fish on an SK 8.0? What gear do you guys fish that on?
  24. Buy them. I hate Walmart, and don't mind sticking it too them. The manufacturer already got their money. I find stuff in the bargain bin regularly that ain't supposed to be there, and I know the Wally World employees don't care, so neither do I.
