  1. Can we post our blogs from google on here . Or is there a different way this forum requires.
  2. Thanks , that's what I use is gmail for my email.
  3. Can anyone give me any info on how to start a fishing blog . Where is the best website ? ect . I would appreciate any help . Im new to this social media stuff , and I was told to start one. Thanks guys .
  4. I'll take your word for it , everything else sounds good.
  5. I'm going to demo the 115 and that's what I might go with. Since several people have posted its fast . I'm a speed demon, like everything fast my cars ,my kayaks and my women. Lol , And I have the vapor10 as well and it does fly.
  6. I'm all for a food section , who needs homefoodnetwork when you got bass resource
  7. Thanks franco , ill start tagging .Most of the time I do but thanks for pointing that out.Im sorry I didn't clarify .Its different depending on what platform you use to fish to get to the fish . Bank fishing has limited oppurtunties to access certain parts of the lake .An example is : I live by a lake that is 2500 acres of stumps and submerged timber. When the lake is low , boats cant get it the areas a kayak can because its so tight with the timber. Lake aquilla is a great blue catfish lake . In these low lake level situations , I can squeeze my way into the trees in my yak and haul in some nice blue cats , and crappie. But I see your point too , as far as throwing a lure .Its not any different ,just the way you get there or access it might be and an advantage.
  8. Fishing is totally different depending on how you access the water.Bass boats can go were kayaks can't depending on wind conditions. Kayaks can go were boats can't , stump fields , shallow back water creeks and bank fisherman can't fish deep water humps or around islands in the middle of the lake. I'm sorry fishing is totally different depending on what platform you do it. The river I take people fishing on averages a foot deep and can only be accessed by a kayak , there is no boats on it.
  9. Any good areas to bass fish around Owensboro . And also what kind of fishing can you find in the green river before it gets to the ohio . And then how is the fishing around in the green around mammoth cave.
  10. Thanks for the insight . Ill have to try the wilderness systems kayaks . Im going to buy 3 different yaks for my fleet , so im seeing what my options are.Ok the coosa sounds good , I got it confused with the cuda. What other yaks would be good for a shallow river, with some dragging involved.
  11. 10-4 Its good to know its in the discussion . Im living the kayak bassin life ,I might be a little obsessed
  12. It would be great if bass resource offered a section just for kayak fishing , not combined with boats and canoes .Kayak fishing is so versatile , I can travel ten miles down a river surrounded by land owners and river access and fish places were bass don't see lures. Its an amazing advantage to find great fish and adventure. Alote of state forums do offer kayak fishing its own section , and kayak fishing is growing so fast . The new KBS pro kayak circuit is starting this year offering great cash payouts. It would be great to have our own section and draw many more kayakers to this forum . Nationally there isn't a greater forum then this one . And only state fishing forums have really attracted the majority of kayak fishermen . To have a nationally forum like this catering to yakers needs would bring the kayakers together better from all different areas , thanks guys.
  13. The kayaks with the raised seats , Jackson , hobie ect are more comfortable. And yes this is just my preference .I have tried most of them and im looking for lightweight narrow fishing kayaks for what I do . Im on a shallow non flowing river that requires alote of man powered paddling 30 hours a week. But if anyone else knows a kayak I can try , im willing to upgrade. The new proto drew Gregory is designing Jackson cuda12 LT is what im interested in . 20 lbs lighter then the orginal Cuda , sounds good .
  14. Catching bass this last week on plastic worms , texas rigged.I started fishing fulltime and also taking people on the river . Starting to really find some good bass, super excited.
  15. We run a small fleet of pescador12 fishing kayaks on the river. We put tons of river miles in paddling up and down a remote 10 mile area of river were there is no take out or put in. To me everyone should have a 12 foot kayak its the perfect size , there virtually unsinkable . Sit On is the way to go for yak fishing. There are two different types of kayaks Lake kayaks 1. Hobie kayaks 2. Wilderness Systems 3.Jackson Kayaks 4.KC kayaks For lakes you want something wider and more stable. For rivers the pescador 12 is great , there only 28 inches wide and slice through the water .There is the Jackson cuda which was designed for rivers but it still is 31 inches wide .Its my preference in what I take out for the body of water im fishing. River kayaks 1. Pescador12 2.Malibu kayaks 3.Heritage kayaks
