It's such a little blemish, I've bought rods that looked worse in all honesty. Garcia's QC just isn't good.

It was sent to me by Pure Fishing. That's what I'm trying to avoid here is dishonesty. I don't think it'd make much of a difference to BPS though, right? I mean they'd still sell it. I might just go ahead and try to put up a classified ad for a trade.

So say I have an extra Veritas 2.0 6'6" MH Brand new. It's actually one of 3 of the same length and action (one of 2 that work). I don't want to go into too much detail about where it came from to avoid and BS. (It's not stolen or bought illegally, I don't do that type of thing. I might even change my mind and comment where it came from). It just has a slightly bowed bottom guide foot that most likely will never affect casting performance or lifetime of the rod, I'm just so picky. So needless to say I have another one that is perfect now. Since I don't need 2 of the same rod, I was hoping I could trade it out at BPS. The rod tag has no BPS sticker on it and I obviously don't have a receipt. If I can explain that to them by saying it was a gift, will they trade it out? Or should I just be honest and say, "look I have a brand new rod, didn't come from you guys, but your source. Trade it?" I just want a 7' MH Mod-Fast (Veritas or Veracity if I get store cred.) I'd like to make it my dedicated worm & light jig rod. Anyone know where I can get it off my hands for Store Credit or trade it if not BPS?

Thanks yall! I love the idea of the residential ponds as the area is just littered with them! but I always thought I'd have trouble getting access. Guess I'll just have to go to some and see what happens. Another question, I've heard around here that nearly every body of water holds bass. But the other day I fished the pond at the St. Lucie county civic center and got completely skunked, didn't even see any baitfish. I was throwing everything you could imagine, from frogs thru the pads, to texas rigs, all sorts of crankbaits, even jigs. Nothing!

Hey yall. Long time lurker here, just decided to make an account. I just moved down to Port St. Lucie, and I'm stumped. I've heard amazing things about the fishing here, but I've gone 5 times or so and haven't caught a thing. I'm really new to saltwater fishing, that'll take some time. But right now I'm looking for a place to land some FL pigs from the bank! I just don't know where to go to catch largemouth!! I've heard about c24 and 23 canals, but they're closed for a while (It's bone dry here), I've heard of lake melaleuca, but can't seem to find any more info on it's location other than at the end of green river pkwy (I didn't see anything like it's description on the map). I actually live off the st lucie river, but I'm told there's no bass in this brackish (makes sense). I just want to find one good pond or lake that has a few hogs in it. I'll throw whatever, even worm fishing lol I just want to catch a bass here! Help!
