  1. 5162796071 I guess that's the number I called, but it was a couple months ago.
  2. Already have and you do talk to people who are very friendly.
  3. I have been using the yo-Zuri soft for the past couple months and may forget about fluoro for awhile. Stronger and handles much better. The 10# feels as strong as any 15# fluoro imo.
  4. Red Label for cheap, AbrazX for middle of the road.
  5. Grab some KVD L & L and it will help a bunch.
  6. I have not had that issue with the Veritas. Some wire cutters and a sanding file would be quick imo.
  7. Not I, but I'm happy with my KastKing Stealth so far. I wouldn't put the Lews LFS in that same $40-50 category though it's superior.
  8. Nine ounces and no bowed reel handle either...how would that reel even function?!?!
  9. I prefer the 2x4 curls myself!!!
  10. Buy one of those fugly things Shaw Grigsby puts on his flipping sticks. Try the end cap and quarter deal first as its not permanent.
  11. The LFS can be had for $80 on Amazon.
  12. I'm using 10# and its plenty strong. Its a little thicker .31mm than the 12# Seaguar AbrazX I have on a few setups. I like it! Only have about 4 trips on it though.
  13. Well round baitcasters are only good for catfishing.
  14. I've been using the Ultra Soft in 10# for the past month and it seems pretty stout. I like how supple it is. Feels more like 12# to me in strength. I'll probably try the original soon.
  15. A new Veritas micro for 72 bucks?? No, I don't think you can do better at the 70 dollar range. I think the M could handle it all..pushing it on the froggin though.
  16. Yes and no. The new Revos have the recessed reel foot which make them sit super low on the rod. I wish all reels had that. The smaller and lower the better imo. All the Lews LFS models are super comfortable and tiny if you haven't tried those. As far as the gear box being too low and uncomfortable..I haven't had an issue with that.
  17. Not the top of the line rod, but for $55 I don't think you can do any better. Lews LFS?? Yes, it would be a perfect match.
  18. The rod feels very nice in store imo. I like how thin the grip and blank are. The reel felt quite bulky which turns me off. If the rod goes on flash sale then I wouldn't hesitate to buy one.
  19. I just saw some at Cabelas $20 for 200yds. The Gander stuff is cheaper.
  20. That would be nice. I'm pretty sure it's 400yds for $20.
  21. Nobody is insulted here or trying to insult anyone. I just don't understand why the product gets knocked.
  22. Just saying that I've used it since it debuted on many reels and its worked flawless every time...still working flawless. From my own personal experience it seems to be good stuff. Quantum kind of gets a bad rap and therefore so does their hot sauce.
  23. Blah blah. Haters gonna hate hate hate. I have 8-10 reels with this stuff in it and have never had a problem. All are working flawlessly and I do them once each Winter. OverANALyzing about oil & grease
  24. Never owned one, but it seems that's what everyone has said.
  25. Yes, back in about 2011 they had em in store for $79. Very very good buy. They are hard to find now.
