  1. Congrats Aiden! Love those Rage baits.....
  2. Glad to help out . I saw you hadn't posted it, and felt like it was such an awesome vid I wanted to share. Great job.
  3. I caught a 7 3/4 pound bass this Spring, and she had a Magnum Trick Worm, snapped-off EWG, and about two foot of line in her mouth. Don't know how recent it was, but the hook was rusted.
  4. UNBELIEVABLE!
  5. That's awesome. Just make sure you have some close access to fishing water.
  6. I did a ton of hunting around last year looking for my first. I got an Abu Garcia Vengeance for $30.00 on sale from amazon, and I found a Lews Tournament MG for 50.00. If you know your reels, that's a 190 dollar combo that I got for 80. Black Friday is the way to go!
  7. Yeah I really need to pick one up. There's a lot of small bass in my ponds and they don't choke a normal sized frog.
  8. Doesn't sound terrible to me.
  9. Yeah, I already have 6 of them. And it's so cool how hard they vibrate, and then the fish like tears your rod out of your hand. Pretty darn awesome!!
  10. That almost happened to me yesterday with a spook. Lol my finger still hurts from where I sunk a point in it. Thankfully it didn't hit a barb.
  11. Maybe you should take up pond fishing . We don't have to deal with jet skiers.
  12. Although I haven't used it, based on holding it in my hand, the combo feels like a pool stick with a reel on it .
  13. What a compliment lol!
  14. Chatterbait fish and a spook fish! Long story behind the spook, let's just say I've been throwing them for a year and a half now with no fish.....I've tried so hard! lol I can't believe it's taken me so long. And I've been throwing chatterbaits for about a month now, glad to finally get one on them. These were two of the last things on my list of baits I haven't caught a fish on. Glad to see it's getting shorter =D
  15. I can recommend both the Berkley Lightning Shock rods and the Abu Garcia Vengeance rods. If you're planning on doing mostly cranking, topwater, or jerkbaits, go with a medium. If you'd rather throw plastics, jigs, spinnerbaits, etc, go with a medium heavy. If you go with an Abu Garcia, just remember that their ratings are a bit on the stiff side. So if you get an Abu Garcia M, it's more on the side of a MH and is the best of both worlds. In other words, it works for a lot of things, not quite being either a M or a MH.
  16. I've run into a similar, although not perhaps as bad, situation at a new pond I've started fishing. My top picks: -Weightless senkos -Flukes -Trick worms -Swimming T-Rigged baits with a 1/4 oz weight. My favorite is a Cut'R worm. Good luck dude.
  17. Also, you may want to work on your diving skills
  18. Oh, and BTW dude: Bamabass could pretty much catch big fish on anything he throws.
  19. Sunflower seeds, peanut butter crackers, and cold pizza occasionally. I usually just bring water, though.
  20. That's amazing!!
  21. Love the Rage Craw. Just caught a nice 3 pounder on one, swimming it with a 1/4 oz. bullet weight. It excels on the bottom with a texas rig, but I've caught fish on it swimming, topwater, shakeyhead, ect. They're great baits. I like Blue Craw, or just plain old Green Pumpkin.
  22. Go see a doctor. Fishing is never, ever, done.
  23. ^Yeah, I thought so too. I've been waiting for Booyah to get into hard baits, looks like they'll be taking over the Excalibur stuff. Everything looks pretty cool!
