  1. Not sponsored to promote them or anything, but they are killer baits. I'm a Rage Craw/Structure Bug guy, but these may take over. They're not that pricey, and they're a LOT more durable. I actually started swimming them once a bass followed one in and made a swipe at it right by the bank, and caught fish.
  2. No, but I get headaches if I don't have my daily sniff of plastics. Some SK coffee scent or Gambler garlic gives that overwhelming head buzz. Humour aside, that's kinda, well, interesting.
  3. I saw that, pretty hysterical.
  4. It's hard not to pick amart, as this sets up for him and he needs to finish strong. But I'm a dark horse person, that's how I've gotten where I am now and I have a hard time not sticking to it.
  5. How hot is it there?
  6. I have found flipping/pitching/swimming craws that outperform (at least for me) the Riot Baits Fuzzy Beaver, but I'm telling ya, that thing is a killer jig trailer. A lot of my winter fish last year were caught on a football jig with a RB Fuzzy Beaver.
  7. Of course any weekend I fish is a great weekend, but I was blessed with some gorgeous weather and chunky bass. Fishing has been very tough lately, but there was a great bite these last two days. These fish were caught on dropshot, fluke, tube, and the Missile Baits D Bomb. I've fallen in love with tubes lately, the Ned Rig is a lot like them, and they're soft so that the bass hold on to them. And I also have a new pitching and Texas rigging bait, namely the D Bomb. I've also had some fish bite it when I swim it, so I'm pretty happy with its versatility. I'm a believer, this bait is D Bomb .
  8. I was super excited for the same reasons when I had a fish take my frog under a month ago.....but it was a dang warmouth.
  9. I wonder which hack would lead to more ex-spouses........that could get pretty nasty.
  10. Let me know how it goes for ya, if you would.
  11. Dang.....what a gorgeous fish. I can only imagine the pulling power of such a monster.
  12. Small fluke, inline spinner. If they're really shallow, put a small swimbait or minnow imitation on a dropshot. That's been a killer technique for me recently.
  13. Did you say FREE kayaks? I'm in!
  14. I have been insanely busy the last week with keeping up my job while starting my Sophmore year of highschool. Right now all I want to do is to fish, I don't think much about buying stuff. I did make it out tonight, so that was a plus.
  15. I'd recommend a chainsaw Cut that sucker right down the middle. Whether the rod survives is immaterial, at least you will have opened the package.
  16. That's neat: but no way I could have done that. I would have hammered that hook home. What if you just lost your new pb? All the same, pretty cool.
  17. 1 1/2 oz weight should get through anything (punchable, that is ).
  18. I would ask, "where do you go in this body off water under all conditions/weather/seasons, and what do you feel like eating?"
  19. Also, came across both of these today, worth your while: Day in the life of KVD (gopro video): http://www.bassmaster.com/video/gopro-kvd-sunrise Scott Martin AOY Speech:
  20. Guys, this was the most moving fishing story I've ever heard. I applaud Mr. Fukae and the noble sacrifice he made. http://flwfishing.com/tips/2015-08-19-fukae-honored-with-sportsmanship-award
  21. Since starting to bass fish about 1 1/2 years ago, I have knocked off many lures/techniques off the wide variety out there. If I get something, I fish it until, (1) I have fished it so many times that I can conclude the bass in my waters don't like it, or (2) I catch a fish on it. It took me a year to catch a bass on a Spook. I know they're great lures, so I kept chucking them and eventually got bit. My latest puzzle is a frog....I don't have a lot of heavy cover in my ponds, but I really feel like I should have pegged one by now. I'll keep throwing it until I do...........
  22. Hard to say, but I would definitely give that a 6+. Nice work bro!
  23. Jerkbait! Swimbait works too.
  24. That's awesome Sam. I wished that he had fished that tourney, he's so knowledgeable about that area.
