  1. Still at 93% and now at 8th in the group. My guys did okay and I'm glad I survived without a bomb. That was the goal all along.
  2. Jordan Lee with a 6-10 stud on his first few casts. What a day for him!
  3. Palaniuk is making a much-needed rebound. A good 5 pounder and he could salvage today in a big way.
  4. Just got a message back from Ronnie Moore and Palaniuk is still at 0 for the day. Lake Huron didn't work out for him so he's trying to put something together on St. Clair.
  5. Jigs and big topwaters are big bass money. I would pick up a Savage Baits 3D Bluegill as well.
  6. As a pond fisherman, I've found that almost every pond has a five pound plus fish in it - even ponds that you think are only populated with dinks. There's always at least one giant, the top of the food chain. Keep fishing and you'll eventually get into one
  7. So freaking glad I'm not at work today and I can watch Live all morning. Been looking forward to this all week.
  8. I started this event at 93% and I'm still at 93% after today hahaha.
  9. I had 100% confidence that Palaniuk would be close to the top twelve today. He's fishing out of his mind right now and he always gives 110% on day two of the tournament.
  10. Yeah, I looked at everyone's lineups. I also try to guess your picks - I knew your bucket A from the very first time I looked at the rosters.
  11. The weights are stacked, man. Anything can happen.
  12. Palaniuk is nowhere near out of this, and I'm not just saying that becuase I have him on my team. I also picked him for the St. Lawrence. Do you remember where he was after day one there? I believe it was 72. He then weighed in the biggest bag of the tournament on day two (25 pounds) and vaulted into the top twelve. Here, he's at a place he knows well and he's around big fish. Like, huge fish. The weights are so stacked that he could easily be right at the top tomorrow. Looks like my play it safe strategy worked fairly well for day one...although lots of people have a similar roster to mine.
  13. I've spent all season second guessing myself on dark horse picks. At 93%, I'm doing well enough that I don't want to swing for the fences again. I hate myself for doing it, but I have pretty much all the favorites. -Brandon Palaniuk -Alton Jones -JVD -Pickens -Lane playing it safe sucks but I made the decision to do it. Hopefully it works out. Edit: oh yeah, also this is almost my identical lineup for the St. Lawrence and these guys did really good there, so I wanted to duplicate it.
  14. I pity the man that tries to rob you.
  15. I use gallon ziplocks. Cheap, boring, and effective.
  16. I'd consider myself fairly tech savvy and I also hate the FLW website...probably one of the reasons why I mostly stick with BASS.
  17. I would love to have a remote cabin in Alaska by the Kenai river. It's a dream destination of mine. That would be for the summer, then I would head to Florida or Texas for the winter.
  18. Any hookset with braid and topwater blowups.
  19. The joke's on me lmao. Between work and church I didn't get to catch much of Live but both times I tuned in they were talking about it. They must have had a lot of fun with it and I bet Tommy hates them. They sure got me good ?
  20. I would like to point out that, due to an impressive tournament this week on his part, @buzzed bait and I are 7th and 9th in the group, respectively. In case y'all had forgotten, there's always bragging rights on the line but we upped the ante a little bit this year and the loser will be shipping the winner a box of siebert jigs. We're neck to neck for the final tourney.
  21. -Shawshank Redemption -Gladiator -Saving Private Ryan -The Dark Knight -No Country for Old Men I just recently watched ^ No Country for Old Men. Dang it was a good movie; highly recommended.
  22. No lie. Tommy Sanders was the last person in the world I would expect to want to get a facelift.
  23. Congrats on a great week to both you and Aaron! They showed the reveal photo today. He looks....different. Apparently it's always been a dream of his to get a facelift. Totally bizarre to me ?
  24. Is anybody else a little weirded out by the whole Tommy Sanders plastic surgery thing??
  25. Yeah, I really thought I had keyed into something this season, doing a lot of research on Bassrankings . com and searching out previous results. Some events it's really payed off for me. This time I should have gone with AOY contenders. My picks for Bucket A were Hartman, Wheeler, and Palaniuk but I decided to go with Hartman because of previous experience.
